My little studio cabin is located two blocks from downtown Tahoe City. It is easy to shop, eat, drink, etc., by foot, bike, or car. It also has a hot tub available to guests.

The space

It is small and cozy, ideal for two people. There is one full/double bed mattress that comfortably sleeps two up in the small loft. Note: guests must be comfortable climbing a ladder to access the sleeping loft. The loft has a low ceiling. There is also a couch that will sleep one person. Its equipped with a kitchen, bath/shower, and washer/dryer. It also has free wireless internet.

There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance from the cabin including a Safeway supermarket and public transit. The lake is right down the street as well. Trails through the woods are also right out the door. The neighborhood is one of the older ones in Tahoe and most of the residents live here year-round.

There is a larger house located on the front portion of this duplex property, and it is occupied by the co-owners (my sister and bro-inlaw). We share the parking, yard, and hot tub. The neighboring houses are close and we don't have fences between yards, so its not a place to get loud and party. Everyone is very friendly though, and I have good relationships with my neighbors.

This cabin is amazing! It has everything you could want and it's a short walk to town! The outside fire and hot tub are an added plus! Pat is a gem and super helpful. The hike suggestions were on point! I can't wait to visit this magical little cabin and town again! Thanks

Pat's place was clean, cozy, and had some great vibes. I loved all the plants, records, books, and odds-and-ends that made it feel so welcoming. Great location just a short walk from downtown. Pat was friendly, flexible, communicative, and easygoing. Great experience :)

A great little getaway. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Went during July but with the house open it was nice and cool inside. Had enough cookware to get by but you might need to bring your own if you had something specific planned.

Love, love, love this place! It is so comfortable and cute, it truly feels like I'm back in time with the record player and the cozy upstairs loft. The hot tub was fantastic, and my partner and I made a small bonfire in the fire pit to roast marshmallows late at night. Wonderful stay-I look forward to visiting again.

I grew up in Encinitas near San Diego. After graduating high school, I moved to Santa Cruz to attend UCSC, then to the San Francisco bay area, then Lake Tahoe, then back to the bay to finish school, and finally back to where I am most happy so far... Lake Tahoe. I am easy going…
