Richard is a very considerate host. The room was immaculately clean, tidy and comfortable with an excellent shower and en suite. We were shown around the living areas but then left to come and go as needed. Although it is an amazingly quiet street, a short walk took us to the harbour and it was an ideal location for attending a nearby function.

I am a retired civil servant, Poole born and bred, although I have lived and worked away at times. I am divorced and living alone and I am very happy living in Poole because, as well as being my home town, it caters for a wide range of interests and in particular it offers sailing on its magnificent harbour. I am an active member of a local yacht club where I racing in my dingy and crew on other members cruisers. Being of a gregarious nature, I particularly enjoy the social side of club life, .

I play in a band with a group of old friends. We range from 'bluegrass' through 'country', 'folk' and a bit of 'rock and roll'.

I am an avid listener to the BBC with my default station being Radio 4 closely followed by Radio 3. I also enjoy television but I am rarely at home to watch it.
