Great place to stay! Super clean. Martin is a great host, he makes sure you feel at home and makes sure you're comfortable. Highly recommend this place!

We never met Susan, but Martin was hospitable and as busy as we were. We only saw him once after checking in. He told us all about his coconut-related business ventures. I'm sorry we didn't get to sample more of them. The room itself was quaint. Private bath and a shared kitchen were perfect for us. Our only complaint was that one day the AC didn't turn on when we got home, though that was probably a result of it's overuse -- it was pretty hot during our stay. They also didn't have washcloths, so bring your own. The West Bay is a cool area if you're not looking for a party. It's about a mile walk to Hell (cheesy, but cool rock formation), the Turtle Farm, West Bay Diner (delicious, cheap), and a Foster's grocery store. We also went to the beach (duh) and it was a bit more choppy than Seven Mile, but also didn't have the crowd, which was perfect. We'd also recommend checking out Heritage, everything was delicious and fresh. Rent a car. It's pretty inexpensive ($70 USD for five days). Taxis are expensive and public transportation in the West Bay is infrequent and not especially useful if you'd like to go beyond Georgetown. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Great location in West Bay, close to a number of good restaurants. Would recommend having a car because the roads don't have sidewalks and it can get pretty hot! About a 5 minute drive to Cemetery beach, a really nice spot. The house was very clean, each room has it's own bathroom and then all the rooms share a sizable kitchen with a fridge, stove and microwave. Beautiful yard with hammocks and furniture to sit and have coffee in the morning or relax under the stars at night. The host was very friendly and recommended all kinds of restaurants and things to see in the area. Definitely a good place to stay if you want a West bay experience in Cayman!

We loved our 3 night stay at IronHorse. Eco conscious, affordable with a great central location near the most prestine private beaches. The hosts were welcoming and available if we needed them. We will be back!!!

Overall, I had a good experience. Martin is a little off but still very nice. He even gave me a mango from his garden! The only little problem was the fire alarm that went on three times between 9 and 11pm, but that's it.
