The cottage is located in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales nestled amidst the Peak District. The cottage is a five minute walk to the dramatic Black Rocks cliff top, a five-minute drive from Matlock Bath and Matlock Bath train station, a ten-minute drive to the Heights of Abraham and a five-minute drive to the starting point of many water-based activities on the Derwent River (including paddle boarding, canoeing and boat hire). There are hundreds of epic walks straight from the front door throughout the Dales and Peaks so it is a great location for people without a car. The cottage is a twenty-minute drive from Chatsworth House.
