Pete was extremely friendly & helpful, such a pretty house, clean and typical for the region. Location was great, awesome view - of course, breakfast was excellent and generous. I would surely recommend Pete's place to anyone looking for authenticity and downtime.

Pete's place is absolutely one of a kind! It's on the edge of the beautiful quite terraced village, Guarda, which offers a panoramic look of The Valley. I felt like I woke up in the clouds facing the mountains! He is super helpful and interesting to talk with. He also has a great collection of books about everything in the region. Make sure you read the local fairytale written by a lady who lives right across the street!

Your stay in Guarda will refresh your mind and body. Far from the city and closer to a life lived by the land. The locals are very friendly and the scenery is breathtaking. A walkers/cyclists paradise!

Martin and Helen's beautifully decorated Engadin-styled house was just the perfect stay for a weekend getaway. The house has a spectacular view which is also visible from the bedroom. Breakfast was carefully prepared with a selection of fresh breads, local cheeses and homemade jams. The house is located in the fairytale village of Guarda, and the village has plenty of hiking and walking trails. We will definitely visit Guarda and chasa49a again!
