Very nice basement apartment, stocked with nice touches (shampoo/body wash/creamer in the fridge, etc) and hosts are very communicative and responsive. Lovely neighborhood, 25 minute walk to Brown University.

Tim and Mara were great hosts. She greeted us when we pulled up and showed us the place which was extremely roomy. Offered restaurants and suggestions. This was one of the best places we stayed at in our 3 week journey. Tim met us when we left in the morning. Would love to come back.

Check in and out was straight forward and the apartment was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The washer and dryer was very handy midway through our trip!

We stayed here for a weekend get away to RI. Check in was so easy and the host was so welcoming and friendly and was quick to respond to any questions. The location was great for the Providence area as it was a quick walk (with a GREAT coffee and begal place on the way - Rebelle) or quick uber to get to Brown and downtown Providence. We would definetly stay here again!

Tim and Mara were great, always available, although we communicated mostly by text/email. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood that is centrally located to start your adventures from. It is very easy to find and has easy access to freeway. Lots of on street parking, never had a issue finding a place directly in front of house. Easy walking distance to grocery stores and places to eat (we had a car so drove just about everywhere). Although not in walking distance, if you like diner food you need to check out Olneyville New York System. It was featured on the Food Network and the staff is a real cast of characters. They regale you with stories and recommendations, while explain the Rhode Island way to eat (think apple cider vinegar and ketchup on your fries). House is set up if you want to eat in, with all the conveniences of home. If we return to Providence this is where we would stay.

The place was great !!! It was very close to downtown which is where we wanted to be without spending a ton of money. It was very clean and cozy. We didn't really need all the amenities of the kitchen and laundry, but it would be great if we needed them as it was very convenient !! Thanks again for having us...we really enjoyed ourselves !!

Timothy User ProfileTimothy is a superhost.

We are a college professor and a high school history teacher who love living in Providence. The restaurant scene here is excellent, and the proximity to Brown University, the Rhode Island School of Design, and the nearby attractions of Bristol, Jamestown and Newport make Providence a great base for exploring. We look forward to sharing this experience with you!
