Refuge Ranch Retreat's log Lodge is the ideal location to find your zen. Cozy up to the wood-burning stove, share stories while you roast marshmallows over the fire pit, or sit on the porch and unwind. The Lodge sits comfortably on 53+ acres of nature views. You never know what wildlife you will see on the property! Refuge Ranch is perfect to fish, boat, archery, hunting (boar), pet horses, & MORE.

Located south of Atlanta in Butts County, and sits along I-75.

The space
We have designed our Lodge to have all your essential needs!

Boasting 2200 square feet of cozy living space, whether you're spending time with family or friends, this home will make you never want to leave Refuge Ranch.

HOME LAYOUT
Follow along- when entering the front door, you will walk into the open concept living room, which leads to the dining area and kitchen.

LIVING ROOM
Start the wood-burning fireplace and sink into the luxurious sofa and chairs after a long adventurous day by watching a movie/show on our 65” TV. We provide access to a cable package. In addition, we have DVDs that you can watch via our DVD player. Unfortunately, streaming services are currently not an option due to the location of the cabin. Yet, WE DO have high speed internet connection via a cellular modem.

KITCHEN
Fully stocked with all of the kitchen necessities you need to prepare a great meal at home. You will find a stovetop, oven, and a full-size refrigerator to fix meals for your group.

+There is a hot water kettle, Keurig, coffee, tea, sugar, sugar substitutes, and creamer.

+Toaster, Baking Sheets, Blender, Basic Seasonings, and Olive Oil.

DINING ROOM (LOCATION 1st FLOOR)
The dining room is fit for your large group! With seating for 6, you can enjoy a nice meal while you share laughter over a meal or pull out a few games and have a competitive family/friendly feud. There are three barstools to seat the additional members of your party.

BEDROOM 1 (LOCATION 1st FLOOR)
“Graceful View” is outfitted with a queen bed, two bedside tables, a ceiling fan, two bedside lamps, a floor lamp, and a closet.

SHARED BATHROOM (LOCATION 1st FLOOR)
The shared bathroom has a tub-shower combination and vanity, located directly off the open concept living room and dining room.

BEDROOM 2 (LOCATION 1st FLOOR)
“Nature Retreat” is outfitted with a Full OVER Full, luxury mattresses, ceiling fan, dresser, floor lamp, and closet.

SITTING ROOM
The sitting room situated between the dining room and the two bedrooms (on the first floor) is a great place to unwind and read in front of the gas fireplace. If you need additional sleeping space, the leather futon opens into a full-size bed! This is a perfect place to take work calls or simply relax and focus on YOU.

Let's take a few steps up to the Second Floor:

MAIN BEDROOM 3 (LOCATION 2nd FLOOR)
The “Lovers View” is equipped with a queen-sized canopy bed, luxury mattress, two bedside tables, ceiling fan, wardrobe, walk-in closet, rocking chair, 55" television, and leads to the main bathroom. Step right outside the double swinging doors to drink your coffee/tea on the private balcony while you lounge in the two chairs provided.

Main Bathroom (LOCATION 2nd FLOOR)
The main bathroom is equipped with two vanities, a vast walk-in shower with two separate heads, plenty of storage, and a toilet. In addition, you will find shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

WASHER + DRYER
On the main floor, you will find the full laundry room containing the Washer and Dryer. We do provide detergent and dryer sheets for you to use!

OUTDOOR SEATING
There are plenty of places to enjoy the lively outdoors to observe the wildlife wandering the property. On the main floor, you have two seating areas: one directly off the dining room and another off the laundry room. On the second floor, you have a large space to relax with two chairs directly off the “Lovers View”.

When you take a few steps away from the cabin, you will find plenty of seating around the fire pit and cooking grate!

PETS
We do accept dogs. The fee PER PET is $75. In order to keep our pet fee down, the first $75 is charged through the STR platform and the rest (if you have numerous dogs) will be charged through the resolution center.

If traveling with your dog, we do ask that the little one be kept off of the furniture, be crated when away from the cabin, and to clean up after little Fido.

Any unauthorized pet is $200.

ATTENTION NON-AMBULATORY/SPECIAL NEEDS GUESTS:

While most of the Lodge is accessible by wheelchair, please provide us with advanced notice of your needs since our wheelchair ramp for the lower level stairs (2) is portable and only put into place upon request. The ramp makes the two downstairs guest rooms and sitting area more easily accessible.

Refuge Ranch sits on 53+ acres along with two small homes owned by Refuge Ranch. The area offers a level of solitude and quietness that only the country can provide. There is not a lot of vehicle traffic on the road in front of the ranch. Even though you feel miles away from civilization, you’re only seven miles from restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores.

Traveling is an adventure, and I think adventure comes in staying and doing unique things. We love staying off of the beaten path whether it be hosting or traveling, and our family likes to offer our guests at our family farm some of that same experience. I believe it's the little things that you remember while on a trip, and usually not the grand things you might have originally envisioned. We give guests/tenants plenty of room. My family and I host and manage this property, and my friend Stephanie is a co-host. Our goal is to ensure that you have a 5-star experience every time you visit!

Our property is pet (dogs and horses) friendly, BUT...contact us with details about your dog/horse when you book. If your dog isn't house broken (completely) and obedient (as in stay off the furniture), then our Lodge isn't a good fit for your pet. Our guests who bring their dogs ensure that their feet are wiped when necessary before coming back into the Lodge, and that they are doggie bed/crate trained to sleep in a specific place. Thank you!!!
