This European style 2nd floor room within a short walk of WKU allows guests to sleep and study in privacy. Located in the renovated Tyler Adams House (c. 1844), it was once the office of a local missionary. A bathroom is available some steps away. The room can sleep two in a pinch (single bed and air mattress). The main advantage is the low cost. We have other rooms that can better accommodate couples, but if you are a single traveller on a budget, you may find this ideal. Smoke free campus!
This is a small room (97 sq ft) that has just enough room for a twin bed and a desk. It does have a closet. The bathroom is several steps away, so please consider this before booking. Many years ago, this room was the Office of the President of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church women’s missions organization, Johnnie Massey Clay. I think she would be proud that it is now being used to lodge travelers to Bowling Green.
This room will sleep two, but the second person will sleep on an air mattress.
There is a TV in the room, but we have "cut the chord" and offer a selection of over the air channels.
The room is near to State Street, so we offer ear plugs for those guests who are not accustomed to urban street noise.
Guests can use the downstairs living room, kitchen and utility room. There is a washer and dryer in the utility room.
Interaction with guests
You will be given a list of phone numbers to contact if you need anything, but try sending a message on airbnb first.
Other things to note
Listed price (before your service fee) includes the following local taxes:

This is a large, multi-unit home. Other guests will share the kitchen, common area and in certain rooms, the bathrooms. Each room has its own lock, and there is a video surveillance system of the outside areas of the building to help assure your safety.
