This lovely, but simple and bright property has the most wonderful views of the bay and mountains from the living room.
You will not regret your choice. 30-60 euro price guide.
Preferred changeover on Sat minimum stay 3 days (7 in high season).

The space

See pricing details at the bottom of this description as the 40-70 euro per night is a guide price:

This lovely, but simple and bright property has the most wonderful views of the bay and mountains.

The property is most suited for a family with up to 2 kids(that get along, as there is a bunk bed in the second bedroom) or a couple on their own.

The living room has large windows to take in the great view, it has a galley kitchen with all the appliances one needs. The bathroom only has a shower as space is limited. The bedrooms are small but adequate. One has a full size double bed and the other a full size bunk bed.

The conservatory is a great place to have your dinner and enjoy the evening sunshine.

It has broadband internet, satellite TV and a lovely garden to sit out in.

You will not regret staying in this property.

The preferred arrival and departure day is Saturday and will get the best price for 1 week starting and finishing on a Saturday. The 70 euro is the guide price and Jun/Jul/Aug weeks are approx. 450 and strictly start on Saturday with a minimum stay of 7 nights. In rest of the season there is more flexibility and week prices start at 270 Euro low season start dates are more flexible. Mid season weeks Sat to Sat are approx. 350 euro but some flexibility on start dates may be possible closer to the stay. prices exclude booking charges.

Guest access

You'll have your own front door with a private access with parking.

There is a very reasonable part of the garden that is for your use only. As seen on picture it is the area with the bench and decking/patio. Behind the apartment is a field where you can play ball games which you share with the guests of the other house on the property.

Interaction with guests

I live in the neighbouring property with my family and wife and of 3 boys.
We will be available to assist at any time, but you will have as much privacy as you like as you are 80 meters from our house. The access road passes by our house.

Other things to note

Gas is metered and will be charged from a start and end of stay reading at the current cost price. Indication 3 euro per cubic meter.
The water in the house is of excellent quality and is 100% fit for consumption, and tastes great even if I say so myself (has been tested).
1 pet allowed, if more required contact host to discus.

The view is spectacular and Martin is very helpful and friendly. You have to do the nature walk at the park behind Martin's it is phenominal! A great place to base yourself for Killarney and the ring of Kerry and Baera!

We loved it here ! Great little cottage with all we needed and the most lovely view and little garden and Arwen loved feeding the ducks !! We saw wild deer and donkeys on the way up to the house... Loved being remote but close to Kenmare too... Which is great for coffee or dinner ! Loved the Beara peninsula.. Ask Martin about the park with stone circle and waterfall a few km down the road.. It's worth a trip to; most beautiful valley an scenery we saw! Great comfy place and great value! Would love to return ! Thank you Martin

This is a great place with great host. Location is beautiful. If you have trouble with stairs it might be a bit much for you. But it truly is a beautiful place that we had a hard time saying good buy.

We've had a wonderful time at Martin's place. Everything was exactly as described or even better. The location is one of the most breathtaking ones I've ever been to. Martin and his family are great hosts with lots of good tips for having dinner, planning trips etc. We highly recommend this place, because it was a beautiful vacation. Thanks for everything.

The home itself is an attraction. A lovely view, and a bit of an adventure to get there. Host and home were great. Lots of light and privacy. A rare combo. Views were amazing. Internet was fast and stable. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure for shower. Lots of space. Good heating if you need it.
