Came to the area to run a marathon and the farmhouse at Crampton Manor proved to be the perfect place for us. It was “off the beaten path” and gave us the quiet and privacy we sought, yet was close to town, stores…and the starting line of the race. The farmhouse itself was rustic, yet had all we needed to cook meals, hang out and just rest before and after the run. And it’s tucked away that you feel like the only people for miles around! Glorious. Linda was a wonderful host, guiding us to the farmhouse and then giving us a quick, informative tour. I highly recommend the 1897 log farmhouse – especially if you’re looking for a place to get some much needed peace and quiet in a relaxing, rural atmosphere.

The farmhouse is cozy, full of charm and atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable. Our kids immediately felt at home and so did we. We all slept so well in these very quiet, relaxing surroundings. Linda and Mike communicated efficiently and made sure we had all we needed during our stay. Overall a wonderful experience.

We booked this lovely farmhouse to bring home the experience of what pioneer life was like for our twins, age 7, who are reading the Little House on the Prairie books. We loved it! Although there wasn't a toilet and shower in those times, it was certainly a nice addition for us! The stove worked great and the fridge was nice and cold. Cute how they were hidden so you could close the doors and pretend they weren't there! We really enjoyed the stories and history that Mike told us about the house as he helped us get all checked in and settled. We also all loved the tour of the barn which is close to the (URL HIDDEN) made us try to think of a reason to rent it! Great place for star gazing. Totally private!

Linda and Mike were beyond wonderful! They were helpful regarding where to eat, what to do, and so nice to my husband and my sons. They also have a dog, Snickers, who we all fell in love with. The grounds and cabin are a slice of heaven right here on earth.

This rustic farmhouse was just the ticket: birdsong morning and evening, a fire pit, porches -- great. Linda was an lovely hostess, super helpful and communicative. She helped me pull off a family reunion on their property. Can't wait to find a reason to go back.

We had an amazing time at the Farm House, the house is authentic and the area very calm. A real corner of paradise in the forest. The kitchen and the house are fitted, practical and very enjoyable. The terrace is perfect to drink a tea after a long day. The Whitetail ski resort is 30 minutes away, there is a Giant and a charming city not far. Thank you very much Linda for being an amazing host, very reachable and devoted for her guests.
