The space
Stay at our new brand new (2022) 3 bedroom/2.5 bath townhome and enjoy spectacular views of Engineer Mountain. Perfect for multiple families, the home has 2 living spaces (on different floors) along with an open living space. The deck off the main living space features a hot tub, gas fire table, BBQ Gas grill and great views. The home also features the expected amenities such as WIFI, washer/dryer (laundry detergent provided), 2 car garage and a fully stocked kitchen. All the TVs are Smart and a YouTube subscription is available as well as other streaming services (using your personal login) as well as Dish TV on all TVs except the downstairs living space (Game Room).
Located directly across highway 550 from the Purgatory Ski Resort entrance, the home is surrounded by national forest and is only 24 miles north of downtown Durango (less than a 30 minute drive).
The home is part of the resort so you have access to free on-demand shuttle service to Purgatory Ski Resort but since it is across the highway you have the privacy and additional space a townhome affords (it’s part of a duplex). At 8,900 feet of elevation, the home is a gateway to an amazing winter playground and also serves as the perfect summer retreat, with a million acres of national forest land at your doorstep offering all your favorite mountain activities. It’s only a 2 minute walk to Twilight Lake for fishing and paddle boarding and as well as Purgatory Flats Trailhead, one of the most scenic hikes in the San Juan Mountains. Horseback riding, jeep trails, an alpine slide, epic mountain biking and the Purgatory Inferno Mountain Coaster are all less than 5 minutes from the home.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club.
