Paul's place is just perfect! A cozy, one-of-a-kind studio in a charming house, perfect for a weekend getaway or a stop on the way from NY to Boston. The room was very clean and the communication and check-in were very smooth. The neighborhood is quiet and the proximity to the water is amazing and very relaxing. Paul is a truly friendly host, who shared many tips on the area and was very helpful with everything. Thank you so much!

Great place to stay for just one night. Bathroom was quite tight and flooring in main room was unstable. Location was convenient to find things to do. Room was clean.

Donna and Paul are model hosts. The place was clean, cozy, and set up for my arrival. They had coffee, breakfast, and even orange juice for me. I plan on staying again with them in the near future.

For someone who loves the outdoors this place is ideal. Paul and Donna offered a very clean and comfortable room with some little touches that made a big difference - great books, easy key pick-up. I felt at home hanging out in the beautiful yard and I enjoyed being so close to the water (though didn't have time to go for a canoe ride). Even though there is no kitchen access, they provided a sufficient little fridge and a coffee maker (with coffee stocked!). I hope that I get another chance to stay here again.

Really friendly, interesting and hospitable people. Everything about the apartment was delightful, quaint and welcoming. It's rustic and quite old-world in many ways - a bit like staying at your grandma's house in years gone by. We loved it, and very much enjoyed the great chat with Paul on the first night.

We enjoyed our stay in New Haven very much, both relaxing from a week long NYC experience and exploring the southern New England coast and cities. The accommodation exactly met our expectations and requirements. Paul is a very friendly and knowledgable host. Communication was easy and assuring, even though we were rather late on arrival. Thank you very much and we will keep the place definitely on our list should we return in the next future.

Paul and Donna's place is in a charming, historic, quiet neighborhood. "Maritime", where we stayed, is comfortable and funky. Lots of books and videos to browse, a porch to hang out on, the Quinnipiac River nearby to explore. Not the easiest place in New Haven to get to, but reachable by bus or taxi. Nice people, fair price. Check it out for accommodations with character.

We enjoy growing orchids and gardening, raising chickens, maple sugaring, and exploring our local environment via canoe, bicycle, and foot. New Haven is a diverse and fascinating place, with lots of cultural and natural resources close by.

We now have two spaces available. Maritime Neighborhood is our original Airbnb. It features a large, private suite and full bath. Dragon Point is the 2nd floor apartment (Dragon Point is the historic name of the maritime district of the Quinnipiac River). It is a complete 2-bedroom apartment with a fully stocked kitchen. One of our recent guests used the kitchen and large dining room to cater an event at Lyric Hall, one of our landmark local theaters.

Both spaces have a private guest entrance. You can come and go as you please without disturbing and/or interacting with the other members of the household.
