We really enjoyed our stay! The apartement is big and we loved the balcony. The beach is very close and beautiful!!! A big thank to Vincent's mum who hosted us! Because there are two apartements to stay in, we were lucky that our friends stayed at the apartement below. :)

Vincent's apartment is everything you can hope for. It is spacious, clean and the kitchen is well equipped. There is a great little supermarket around the corner for fresh bread in the morning and everything you need for the day. There are also a few restaurants. Try Chez Kissen (in the first street on the right by the traffic light). It doesn't look much, but the food is fantastic. At night there is a security guy in front of the house who looks after the property. Also lots of parking opportunities right in front of the house. But the best thing about the apartment is Vincent's mother. She is a lovely lady that took great care of us. She is super friendly and always came out to asked if we had a good day when we returned home. She also taught us how to make a Mauritian Curry. Hmmmmmm... We always felt very welcome and very comfortable. Thanks Vincent and Rani for this great experience.

The apartment is great. It's spacious, well equipped and just 5 minutes walk from one of the best beaches on Mauritius. If you have a car you can park just outside. The host and his family made us feel so welcome. I very much recommend it to all kind of guests. Thank You Vincent for a wonderful week!

The night drive from the airport was harrowing for us first-timers in Mauritius - street lights and signs are NOT a priority. Directions were provided, though a little more detail would've been good, e.g. what kind of roads to look out for, what to expect, etc. The apartment is inside a compound and not along the road (look for a steel gate). Most establishments close early (7-9pm), so Vincent's mother, Rani, was a life saver, welcoming us with a late home-cooked dinner. It was a great introduction to Mauritian hospitality. The apartment was spacious, though a little dusty. Kitchen had the basic cutlery and cookery, but we had to get our own dish-washing detergent. WiFi worked fine the first couple of days, though became completely non-existent towards the end of our stay. Chez Popo is a well-stocked supermarket just around the corner. The pastries there are great for breakfast if you're lazy to cook. Trou aux Biches is just a 5-minute walk away. You pop into one of the few resort bars there for a drink and snack. Mostly everything else had to be driven to, though the commutes were short. Grand Baie is around a 10-minute drive - it's a nice place to take a slow walk around. There are other retail therapy options too - La Croisette is great for families, and about 15 minutes' drive from the apartment. Rani was a lovely host, and even had us - and the other guests - over at her place for drinks and snacks. Was great getting to know everyone else - a South African couple had been to Mauritius several times and gave some great tips. All in all, the apartment and location covered all our basic needs. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for some quiet time away from the world.

This apartment house is located two minutes from a really good beach, one of the best on the island, with very nice snorkeling. It has no volcanic stones, is ok to walk barefoot on, but bathing shoes (the neoprene kind) are highly recommended. The apartment is new with a nice interior. Big plus for a washing machine! The stove is has four good gas burners, really nice. Utensils in the kitchen are very basic, which is ok. Except for the knife situation. There was only one small fruit knife. We bought a bread knife and left there, but a bigger normal knife really helps if you cook yourself. The roof is a very nice place to spend time in the evenings on, watching the stara. Or in the morning watching the sun rise. The beds however are exceptionally hard. We both(!) got acute back problems and had to go to a chiropractor in Port Luis. Twice. The neighborhood is calm and quiet, but has at least four restaurants within five walking minutes. We liked ghe three we tried, and most of all tje charming little hut between the road and the ocean. There is a supermarket called Popo two minutes from the apartment and they have all you need. If you have a car, try Lolo hypermarket. It ks fifteen minutes away, cheaper and much bigger. Vincent was out of town during our stay, but his mum was there and helped with everything we needed. Very helpful and friendly. If you do not mind the bed situation, we can really recommend this location and apartment.

We have been the 3rd time in Trou aux Biches and this was our best stay. Everything was perfectly organized from pick up at Airport to drop off. The apartment is located about 150 m to the beach in a very silent residential area. Supermarket and Restaurants just a stone throw away. The apartment itself is very clean, well looked after and very functionel. Air condition and fantilation. Even washing mashine in the apartment helps cleaning salty swimwear. The host is always at your disposal when needed. Here you can really say: Abroad but still at home.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. L'appartement est confortable. La grande terrasse est un véritable atout. Nous sommes à 5 mn à pied de la plage qui est magnifique et du supermarché Popo. Idéal pour passer un séjour sans voiture. We've had an incredible 18 day stay in this very big and cosy appartement. The rooms are big and clean, the furniture is recent, the cleaning lady changed the bed sheets every 3 days, while also doing the cleaning. The terrace is also very spacious. We were pleased to meet Vincent and his family during our stay; their kind attentions towards our 3 year old daughter and their prompt assistance in any questions we had were as much appreciated as their kind and sunny way of being. At a 5 minute walk from the clean and safe beach and from the Popo supermarket. We highly recommend.
