Casa Imani is in a residential neighborhood uphill from lovely Reed's Bay. It faces an open lot and you can see the sea and sunset from the side of the balcony. It is very spacious and comfortable. I was there alone and felt very safe. Don, his wife and daughter, Imani, live downstairs. The apartment is a few blocks away from a very nice restaurant, De Outback. I had a fabulous meal there. It is very easy to hop on a bus and go to Holetown and Speightstown. If you want to do any sightseeing, it's not so easy with buses. This place imo is best suited for a couple with a car. However, if you don't mind being alone and do not need nightlife, it's great for a single person as well.
Word of caution, there's no A/C so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. And you may need to bring a pour over or french press if you want to make coffee. I bought and left a colander scoop there and used that with paper towels to make coffee. Hopefully they get a coffee machine soon!
I did not meet Michele and Pia, but they were very responsive with texts and emails. Thank you!
