Vidyun's hill home in Dhamas, overlooks the snow clad Himalayan peaks of Trishul and Nanda Devi, with pine forest walks, bird watching and occasional sightings of leopard, pine martins, jackals in the forest behind the house.

The house has 2 (two) "ensuite" bedrooms with private bathrooms. We do not give out the two bedrooms separately. Each bedroom is equipped to accommodate up to 3 guests. Even if a single guest books the entire cottage is kept free so u have EXCLUSIVE use.

Where you’ll be

Dhamas, Uttarakhand, India

The quiet; the sound of the wind in the pine trees; the expansive view of the valley and the option of opting out of the world. The local entertainment is walking in the forest - Shitlakhet a hill top is a 45 minute easy trek from the cottage along an ancient, beautiful forest trail. If you are lucky, you could also spot a leopard, a jackal or a fox from the elevated "look out" style, covered verandah of the cottage, at dawn or at dusk. But don't worry, they do not enter the property. Alternatively, you could stroll to the local village (2 km) either by the forest trail or along the paved public road for gossip, a cup of tea or a glass of "straight from the cow" milk, at Raju's - a local tea shop. Sorry, there are no pizzas or ice cream available locally.
