Private entry, quiet, first floor suite with artful touches in 1911 Edwardian. Close to beaches, GGate Park, GGate Bridge, groceries, cafes, restaurants on city-wide trolly line for memorable vacation/business/retreat. Easy drive to Marin.

The space

The private first floor, sidewalk level suite, is clean, comfortable and quiet with original windows and doors providing natural light and fresh air. It's San Francisco living, so you can be sure to hear the sounds of a trolley passing by and footsteps from the flat above.

Guest access

The bright yellow door is your private entrance. Once inside suite, the bright windows and garden view will provide a pleasing compliment to the comfortable rooms with a small garden off the bedroom for you to enjoy.

Interaction with guests

Our neighborhood is so lovely you won't need much to feel right at home. We'll provide detailed instructions for entry prior to your arrival. If you would like more information or suggestions let us know and we'll offer some of the locals best San Francisco places to explore. We want you to have the best possible time while you're here!

Other things to note

If you like morning coffee the suite comes with a coffee maker (drip.) If you prefer espresso, Angelina's Cafe on the corner has it all, as well as bagels, (best) croissants, scones, etc.. There's a laundromat three doors away that is clean and efficient, and there is a neighborhood grocery store across the street where you can buy organic fruits and vegetables. It's a neighborhood!

Guests will have access to their private, first floor suite by way of bright yellow door just off the sidewalk. In front of our building there's a bench surrounded by flowers and plants that's always available for you to enjoy. There is a small yard off the bedroom for your exclusive use. The small yard at the back of the property is for permanent residents and we don't allow pets. We are sure you can appreciate our property is an entirely no-smoking, no flame of any kind, environment. (Sorry. Candles and incense have been a bit of a surprise problem.) Oh and for your safety and ours, no one beyond registered guests allowed on premises without host's permission. House is quiet at 10 pm. Thank you.

You must also acknowledge

Everything about this apartment is so charming and well thought through. Very nicely furnished in a way which makes it feel like home straight away. Everything is really nice to look at but also really good to live in. Having quality shampoo, soap and towels was really nice as well as the lovely art and nice furniture. The bathroom suite and kitchen sink are also good quality which makes a big difference. The bedroom is lovely and quiet too. The area is nice and clean. Enjoyed walking down to Baker beach which has an amazing view of the bridge and eating at the excellent Pizetta 211 across the road. Getting into town is really easy as the number one bust runs from the nearest corner and can get you pretty much anywhere with 0-1 changes. Would highly recommend a trip to the de Young museum which is very close by for the art and also for the building. Great place to stay, highly recommended.

Really cool, small apartment in a quiet area. We really enjoyed the stay. This apartment is very close to the baker bay with a beautiful view on the Golden Gate Bridge. With the bus 1, which has a stop directly in front of the house, you can reach all downtown areas in less than 20 minutes. See you next time!

This was our first airbnb experience and it couldn't have been better. Dennis' place was clean and homey. It was the perfect place to come back to after being out in the chilly San Francisco weather. Would definitely come back!
