Welcome to our guesthouse of 25 sqm in beautiful Onsala, 30 km south of Gothenburg, Sweden's 2nd largest city.

The space offers an open plan kitchen/living room with dining table, bed sofa and sleeping loft with 2 single beds (for 1-4 guests, 5 possible with smaller children).
The sauna is overlooking the Kungsbacka fjord.
It is located in a quiet residential area. Train station and shopping centers are 5 km away. Bathing jetty is in walking distance (5 min), nearest beach is 2 km away.

The space
Combined living room and kitchen

The space with high ceiling and large windows is light and airy.
The kitchen is equipped with induction stove, oven and refrigerator/freezer (no dishwasher).

In case you are missing something in terms of kitchen utensils for example, please inform us, so we can add it for the next guest. Most probably we have it available in the main house and are happy to provide it to you during your stay.

The sofa is folding out to a 140 cm double bed.

The ground floor is compact but smart, but please be aware that storage and space is limited, especially when the bed sofa is folded out.

Bathroom with shower and separate sauna for your private use.

Upstairs there is a loft with two 90 cm beds. Ceiling height is low (ca. 110 cm) and the staircase is more steep than regular stairs (children should be supervised going up and down).
There is space to add an extra mattress on this floor (please be aware that it will take up almost all floor space).

There a blinds on all windows for your privacy. The ones in the sleeping loft are black out blinds, however the place won't be completely dark in summer.

Guest access
You have sole access to the guest house.

It may be possible to use the larger house’s garden/outdoor furniture and BBQ. Let’s discuss!

For children:
On our property, we have a sand box and a trampoline that the kids are welcome to use.

Other things to note
The dining table is an adjustable workdesk and we are happy to provide an ergonomic chair and an extra screen - just let us know.

There is a TV but it is really just a large screen, it is not connected to any TV stations and you can’t login to your streaming services on it. You need your own device and connect it with an HDMI cable for example. We are happy to provide the cable for you.

Parking right next to the guesthouse.

If you need to use the washing machine, you can use our laundry room in the main house upon agreement.

We own a dog (labrador retriever, very friendly) but won’t let her run around loose when we host guests.

I am living with my husband and two daughters (10 and 7) in Kungsbacka in western Sweden. A labrador lady dog joined our family in January 2022. We love travelling and experiencing other cultures, being outdoors and nature and spending time with friends. I grew up in Switzerland and moved to Sweden 2011, that's why I speak both German, Swedish and English.
