Excellent accommodations! Even though the location is nicely remote, both (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and apple maps were able to lock in for accurate directions. A few of the nights and mornings were a bit cold, but that was the perfect setting to fire up the wood stove. Nice comfy heat, and the area right next to the fire is perfect for laying against a pillow and reading a book. Would highly recommend this for anyone staying in the western sonoma area. (For a bit of exercise, try walking to the end of the road. Quite a bit of a uphill climb, but aside from a good workout some of the views are breathtaking.) About a 45 minute drive to Santa Rosa/Healdsburg, but just under 1.5 hours to the actual town of Sonoma. Despite the draw of Sonoma and Napa, there are a large number of wineries to the west of 101 and about a 30 minute or less drive that are quite nice and offer excellent wines. One restaurant we discovered that is fairly close to the cabin is River's End in Jenner CA. This place sits right on the water per se and has an unobstructed view of the pacific that you can't beat for a sunset dinner. Reservations are a must.

This is a truly magical place. My partner and I wanted to get some work done in a beautiful setting and it couldn't have been more perfect. The cabin is sleek and inspiring. I loved tending the fire and reading on the porch under the redwoods. It is an exceptional place to stay whether you're there for wine tastings, beach time, walking in the woods, or being a hermit by the fire. I really loved it!! Thanks so much, Katrina!

This cabin is completely perfect for spending a week in Sonoma. It's located right by the Russian River and about 10/15 minutes from the rocky coast. Duncans Mills restaurants, bakery, and general store are nearby and reliable for local/gourmet groceries, pastries, and coffee drinks. Healdsburg and Calistoga are only about an hour away. The Scandinavian-inspired space is so cozy and modern. The kitchen is stocked, as is the spa-like shower. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck, taking in the scent of redwood pine. When it got chilly at night, we lit a fire in the wood stove and wrapped up in comfy throws. If you stay here, you'll want your vacation to last forever.

I can't gush enough over Katrina's cabin. It is just beautiful - every detail is thoughtful. Peaceful and quiet, you feel like you are nestled among the redwoods. My husband and I felt very at home and did not want to leave. We will be back! There is lots to do in the area - beautiful hikes and tasty eats - but it's hard to pull yourself away from the cabin!

My wife and I (and our five-month-old daughter) wanted a home base for a Sonoma County getaway to celebrate our five-year wedding anniversary. Katrina's cabin was a gorgeous and remarkable place to stay. Both the architecture and setting of the home are wonderful, and we were able to really appreciate the beautiful redwood trees all around us. While remote and peaceful, the cabin was also a short drive from both Jenner and Guerneville, so we had plenty to do during the day. Checking in was really easy, and even though the area was experiencing record high temperatures while we were there, the woodsy environment got nice and cool during the evening. We're excited about the possibility of returning in fall or winter, when we can take advantage of the fireplace!

My brother and I loved the cabin. Its really clean and has a clever layout. It's far enough out to be nice and quiet and is still just minutes from the Russian river and the ocean. Nice little deck on the back to enjoy morning coffee. Parking for 2 cars. The shower was nice. The host were great and checkin and out was a breeze. She even hooked it up with a little jar of local honey, that i assume was from her own hives.
