The entire home is yours for a relaxing get away. It's nestled in 50 acre avocado grove; just 10-15 minutes (approx. 5-6 mi) from Fallbrook; 30 min from Temecula's wine country, 40 min from the beach. It is off the beaten path, a unique one of a kind experience, well worth the drive. Great Views! You won't want to leave! Private, peaceful, pristine chaparral and surrounded by avocados!! The stars are amazing! Luxury accommodation with a "nature" experience all rolled into one get-away.

The space

This is a private two bedroom Casita. The Casita accommodates one or two couples, or a party of up to six persons. The first bedroom is prepared when 1-2 guests book, unless separate bedrooms are desired. If you would like both bedrooms, the second bedroom and bathroom are yours for $30/night. When 3-6 guests book, the second bedroom is always prepared. Each bedroom has a new queen hotel bed and a private bathroom (an inflatable queen bed is available to accommodate guests 5-6). There is also a full kitchen, living room and dining room. Patios wrap around the Casita. There are speakers on the back patio and a stainless steel gas bar-b-que. The views are breath taking and serene. The Casita has a private spa that is available for your use and enjoyment. The pool is located at the main house and there is an additional charge of $50 per day. The main house is approximately 1500 feet from the Casita, a short walk or a quick drive.
The Casita is located approximately 5.5 miles from town (10-15 min.) and the drive is beautiful along a curvy two-lane country road lined with California oak trees. You will find the Casita to be the perfect relaxing escape that you are looking for. You can explore the town of Fallbrook where agriculture and culture thrives. Visit art galleries and antique boutiques, shop, hike along the Santa Margarita River Preserve, go wine tasting in Temecula or in Fallbrook (by appointment), enjoy the beach in Oceanside, or relax and just exhale. You won't want to leave! The road is a windy, two lane country road, very different from city and freeway driving.

Guest access

You are free to roam around the grove, please wear appropriate shoes as some of the roads are steep. Hiking is available at the Santa Margarita River Preserve located off of Sandia Creek Road and at the Santa Rosa Plateau which is near by.

Interaction with guests

I along with my husband, Dan, are available to answer any questions that you may have and to help you find interesting places to eat or explore.

Other things to note

We have two friendly dogs that roam the 50 acre grove. They will wander down to the Casita. They are not allowed inside and are happy to join you on the patios.

This was our first Airbnb stay and I’ll tell you what... Paula & Dan have set the bar very high. The Casita was so clean and comfortable that we felt right at home. We enjoyed the absolute peace and quiet as we star gazed from the hot tub and loved having coffee on the back patio in the morning. This place is a rare gem and we HIGHLY recommend it for a quiet getaway.

This is an awesome place to get away from it all and the photos are a very accurate representation of the facilities. The Casita is fully a pointed and clean so all you should have to bring with you is your clothing and groceries. The term Casita is a little understated for this place, it's closer to a 2 bedroom 2 bath house in my opinion. We (my wife and I) stayed for the weekend, along with another couple, so we could attend a wedding in the Temecula area (about 30 minutes away). There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The area is isolated but cell phone reception was good and there is WiFi available in the casita. The hosts were very accommodating but also understand how to give you the privacy you want. We only saw the hosts on check in as a matter of fact and the main house is barely in eye sight from the front of the Casita. Privacy from neighbors is excellent pretty much because there are no neighbors and the ambient noise is nonexistent save for wildlife and the rustling of avacado tree leafs. We enjoyed grilling up our dinners, having some cocktails and jamming out to some tunes on the outdoor speakers while soaking in the nice weather and views. This would also be a great place to gather your thoughts, meditate or get some quiet time to work on a business plan. The one thing to note is that the last few miles of road to get to the property is a scenic, smaller paved road with some tight turns. Take your time, enjoy the views and it shouldn't be a problem. We are trying to find a excuse to stay there again. Awesome!

We had a lovely stay at the casita. Paula and Dan went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and felt welcome. The casita was pristinely clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. We all commented on how easily we could live in such a space permanently! ;) We will definitely be back and stay at the Casita again, should it be available!!!

Paula & her husband are so sweet! They waited up extra late for us to arrive, since we were coming from our wedding! Waking up in the morning to a beautiful view & reminiscing on the night before having the time of our lives at our wedding; this place really was the cherry on top of our wedding night. Every little detail was perfect, from the delicious muffins to the spa under the stars. This is the perfect place to stay for privacy & a beautiful view, with the ever so lovely Paula (&I her husband) there to make sure it's perfect.

The Casita is the perfect couples get away. It is so nicely tucked into the landscape offering privacy and spectacular views. Paula welcomed us with fresh fruit, muffins and cold beverages. She made us feel as though we were old friends visiting and we genuinely appreciated her thoughtfulness. We booked the pool area for one day and Dan showed us the way around the pool and spa, how to work the sound system and offered their grills for cooking out. He made sure we were set and left us to enjoy their amazing outdoor space. We couldn't have asked for nicer host's or a better home to stay in. Our only regret is we wish we could have stayed longer.
