Welcome to Penzance! Our bijou and fully equipped flat is a perfect base to explore this vibrant seaside town. A short stroll from sea swims, coastal walks, beach days, the Art Deco sea water Lido, art galleries, vintage & antique shops, and incredible local food. The flat is full of character, styled with vintage finds and art, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a super comfortable double bed, kitchen, and a great hot shower. We look forward to welcoming you!

The space
As you enter the house theres a tiled hallway (original victorian tiles), and carpeted stairs up to the door for flat 4. As you enter the flat, there's a bedroom to your right, with sash window, linen curtains, superb comfy double bed and some vintage drawers and hanging pegs for your clothes. Silk woven Persian rugs and sheepskins on the floor. Further along the little hallway takes you to the spacious and light open plan living area, with a well equipped kitchen, mid century leather sofa, coffee table, dining table and two chairs (a spare folding chair is there too). Next to the kitchen area is the shower room / bathroom. I have repainted all the walls in non toxic clay paint from Little Greene Paint company, and added new luxury radiators and an amazing boiler for showers and heating. The art is from my personal collection, and the two etchings of St Michaels Mount and Boscastle are by my best friends Dad. The vintage pieces are sourced from my work as a vintage dealer and interior designer. I really hope you enjoy spending time here as much as I do, and please do get in contact if you have any questions.

Other things to note
Please be quiet and respectful in the communal areas as some of my neighbours work nights and/or from home. Thank you for being considerate! One well behaved and quiet dog (not barking all the time) is welcome to come with you, please add your dog to the booking so the cleaning team are aware and we ask that dogs do not get onto the sofa or the bed.

Peaceful area, walking distance to shops (10 mins), and to sea front (15 mins). A short 5 min drive to supermarkets. Wide street with free on street parking, lots of trees and gardens. Mostly large Victorian granite houses, with some later town houses from 1880 - 1920.

About me: I am Bristolian, I have a grown up son and I love old things, furniture, houses, textiles, art :: you name it! I’ve recently finished studying a full time MA in Arts Management. For my current work : interior decorator / vintage fashion and antique textile seller. I love books and music, dancing (salsa and semba and kizomba)..and I swim a lot. I have family in Cornwall and spend a lot of time in Penzance and the surrounding areas, so I can recommend some amazing beaches, walks and places to go to buy vintage or to eat and drink!
