In this quiet 2 bedroom townhouse you will share kitchen, living room and outdoor spaces and laundry with one other person. The room now available is the master bedroom which is only available when the owner is not in residence. There is an ensuite bathroom for your use. The bed is queen size. We are pet and 420 friendly. The pets that reside here are usually gone when the room is available.

The space
The 2nd bedroom is now rented to a long term roommate fellow. He works long days and returns to Calgary often. Both bedrooms have a lock on the door. Outside spaces are very inviting.

I retired from my main career in Property Management and loved sharing whether at home or when away. Some reviews are from the winter of 2014 when I shared the large vacation home that hubby and I rented in Lake Havasu City. It was so much fun we thought we would see if anyone wanted to stay in Maple Creek when we got back to Saskatchewan. Several people did.
From June of 2015 to May 2017 we lived on Vancouver Island and rented a large home to see if we liked living there. Since it was expensive and had 3 bedrooms we enjoyed hosting folks from all over the world. Unfortunately the owners sold the home and we had to move. We returned to Maple Creek and offered the lower suite to guests until the pandemic.
Before doing Air Bnb we always had room mates. We wrote a book to help others share their homes.
It is available through Amazon.

We were early adopters of the governance model Sociocracy and would love to live in a cohousing project if one ever gets going nearby that is affordable.
