I had a lovely time staying in Luca's apartment. It was exactly as advertises. I enjoyes the two lovely balconies with flowers. My hosts went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible. When I needed some help they treated me like a friend rather than a client. I had some quiet days by the pool in the appartment (not wishing to frequent the lively pool complex down in the town). At night Salice Terme comes alive with families and there is plenty to amuse. I would thoroughly recommend this appartemnt.

We used this apartment for the second time (see my first review in italian - June 2015). The description is accurate, everything is perfectly clean and fully functional. The hosts are extremely kind and very flexible. The neighbourhood is very quiet and the region deserves a visit.

We are supposed to have less contact with the host if the place provides wifi on the very first day. However we see them even more often because the drainage system of the bath tub have problems causing water dripping to the floor below the apartment. we were asked not to take shower for one whole day and instead to use the shower beside the swimming pool which provides no hot water. We appreciate that a wifi was installed on our request. However we were accused of damaging the wooden cutlery rack that I have never used and were asked to pay for it. We survived to get some sleep in very hot weather of 35 degrees with no air conditioning. I know air-conditioning is not fashionable in Italy but imagine yourself trying to fall asleep at 35 degrees at night. The place is neat and tidy and spacious but you are asked not to create any mess after 5 days of staying otherwise you will be charged for the cleaning. I have been collecting all the trash at home and put them in a big rubbish bag so that its easier for my host to take them out after 5 days, because obviously I was not told where to put my trash for 5 days. There is a dish washer but it's said to be out of order. I don't find a sponge to clean the dishes so I use my hands to apply the detergent instead. The neighborhood is very quiet and the centre of the city where you can find restaurants is just 1 mins drive away from the apartment. It is an hour and a little more to drive to Milan. The swimming pool is the one big credit of the apartment because usually there is no one sharing it with you. Other than that the pool is shared among a few neighbors, you will possibly be asked often the question"who the hell you are putting you feet in my swimming pool" by the neighbors because obviously they do not know you are staying in the apartment next to them. I have tried my best to keep the apartment as clean as possible while striking a balance of the fact that I don't want to take too much care on cleaning because I think I am having a holiday there. But still I fail at it.

Response from Luca:
While we're sorry for the drain which was repaired the same morning (and the plumber recommended to make the walls dry before taking showers to check if there were more leakages) and for which we already apologiged, I have to clarify a couple of things which seems you're not mentioning in your review: the facilities available on the apartment are clearly indicated in the listing, we offer NO wifi, NO dishwasher, NO airconditioning. We provided you mobile wifi FOR FREE (we had to pay to get it) as it seemed to us you really needed this, thanks for having at least appreciated this; we can't do much about the weather tough, as an extraordinary heat wave is hitting all Europe. I can ensure you this nice country of ours knows the wheel, the hot water and the airconditioning, as the apartment is in the hills it USUALLY is not necessary use airconditioning, anyway seen the big heat we provided a big fan to help you cope with the weather, this was not mentioned as well. All the sponges and detergents for the kitchen were in the cabinet just below the sink, which you clearly opened as you can see in this pic: (URL HIDDEN) , the garbage tanks were just in front of the house where you parked the car. As for the neighbours, they were alerted that we had guests since the pool is private and only accessed by the apartments, I guess they were trying to understand who you are since they never saw you before. We can't guarantee politeness on behalf of the neighbours, though we can tell them to mind their business next time. We provided a cotton cover for the sofa for your comfort, cotton is fresher to sleep on than the sofa couverture and filling which is goose feather, I'm sorry you got it like an insult that you were dirty. Shall I show how you "collected" rubbish and "cleaned as much as possible"? This is how we found the house: (URL HIDDEN) , (URL HIDDEN) , (URL HIDDEN) . Not to mention you quenched the cigar on the handrail and now the enamel is burnt. In our "house rules" in the listing we ask to take care of the house as if it was your own: we also DO NOT CHARGE for final cleaning as we ask to leave the house IN THE SAME STATE as you found it. You got a CLEAN, FRESH smelling apartment and you left our house a complete MESS, DIRTY and ravaged. I can understand the need for holiday and relax, but this is a infringement of the rules along with the fact that you broke a cutlery drawer (that was new, put in place the day before you came) and the feeling that more than two persons slept there as we found all bedsheets used in both rooms and on the sofa (while you payed just for two people). We're going through Airbnb resolution centre. This guest IS NOT DESIRABLE, please pay attention when asks for booking your home.
