What a fantastic home in an incredible location. Being here made access to everything in Boston a dream. We actually walked almost everywhere from the North End to Fenway Park and used the T for trips out to JFK Library and the Seaport area. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. The location was perfect for all the touring we wanted to do in Boston. We walked everywhere from the apartment. I would definitely book her home again. We had trouble opening the key safe at first and Shelby answered our text immediately.

21 Melrose Street is in a very convenient location - either to the T at Arlington or Tufts Medical - or just to walk and see the historical sights and downtown nightlife. Shelby's apartment has everything (and more) that you would want and expect to find in any major hotel absent of cable, but we adjusted very quickly to watching Netflix and listening to Pandora. The Wi-Fi reception is excellent and we did not miss for one minute "standard" cable television. Boston was unusually warm during our visit but the A/C in the bedroom and the ceiling fan in the living room comfortably cooled the apartment down when needed. Shelby was very prompt in asking if everything was as expected when we first arrived and she also offered several great restaurant recommendations. In reading the reviews from the guest book for those that had stayed there previously, you could quickly see why this is a great location and accommodation...everyone had very positive comments! If (or when) we are back in Boston, this will be our preferred place to stay.

We stayed in Shelby's home in September of 2017. It is on a quiet street in a bustling, fun city. The city's subway system is a 5-10 minute walk, depending on the line you need to reach your destination. The apartment was clean, comfortable (especially the bed) and felt like we were in a safe neighborhood. Easy walk to the Theater District. Not a ton of great restaurants nearby. Overall, a good value for the price.

We loved this place. Its very close to Bostons greatest attractions. And because the appartment is so cozy, we even enjoyed staying "home". Communication with Shelby was great, Check-in really easy. Its not exactly cheap, but nothing is in Boston.. Hope to be back eventually, this place is 5/5 for sure.

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner who recently relocated with my husband to just outside Portland, Oregon. We love everything outdoors, good food and craft brew and spirits. We love the East Coast and our Boston home so we wanted to keep it and decided Airbnb was a great way to share its charm with others!

We like to keep our house complete, comfortable, yet simple. We do not like clutter or confusion. We love our home because it is small enough to suit our needs both in terms of space and amenities, but also is in the heart of the city so we can get out as much as we want very easily. We cherish time alone and with friends and family. We love our dogs and bring them every where we go!
