I had only used Air BNB for a couple of weekend rentals prior to my stay at Lynn's. These stays were in rooms separate from the main residence with their own private entrances. Lynn's stay is different as she literally opens up her home to guests. You must pass thru the kitchen to access the stairs to the 3 bedrooms she rents out upstairs. The arrangement is geared towards long term (monthly stays) and more of a "community living" arrangement. Lynn is extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful with anything to do with the stay or any other needs you may have. I agree with prior posts by other guests, that the home is definitely perfect for people who like pets. During my stay, Lynn had one big dog, one little and one cat. They are all extremely friendly pets and I loved all three of them and they quickly became my little family while I was away from my own home, family and pets. For me (a pet lover) it was a huge bonus. The vineyards completely surround the property and I was lucky enough to be there during harvest season and got to see the harvest right from my bedroom window. Also as noted by a prior guest, it can get warm upstairs but is very comfortable to sleep with the windows open. Due to it being harvest (which they do at night), Acampo Road gets fairly busy and is right next to Lynn's house, so it gets a little loud at night if the windows are open. I originally booked my stay for a month, but had such a great experience that I added another month stay. Great experience and great host!!!

I had a wonderful stay with Lynn for a little over a month. She has a clean and quiet place surrounded with vineyards in the country but still less then 15 minutes to Lodi memorial where I was working. The only reason not to stay with Lynn is if you don't like dogs because her dogs will like you.

I travel a lot for work, often for weeks at a time. At the end of a long day at work the idea of buying fast food and retiring to a hotel room quickly loses its luster. I tried the extended stay concept, which at least provided me with healthier dining options to prepare my own food. Yet it was still lacking that feel of home. Looking for a better option I decided to give Airbnb a try. Not entirely sure of what to expect, I arrived to check-in at my first Airbnb experience with the confidence of a fully refundable reservation to a major hotel chain in my back pocket. Boy was I glad the hotel was refundable! From the moment Lynn greeted me I felt at home. As described in the listing, I was shown to my own private bedroom on the second floor with a full bath. The view from the window seat of my second story bedroom overlooking the surrounding vineyards was definitely a nice perk! What wasn't well described in the listing is the abundance of space in and around the beautiful, well maintained home in which to relax. From the high top bar in the kitchen, to the brightly lit reading room, to the well maintained poolside or the westerly facing deck from which to watch the sun set over the neighboring vineyard, there were several locations available simply to relax. On top of all of this, I felt that Lynn struck just the right balance of being available whenever I needed her, without being intrusive or overbearing. From providing fresh produce daily from her own garden, agreeing to purchase a case of wine on my behalf as I could not make it to the winery during normal business hours, to simply being there when I got back from work and available for conversation should I choose, Lynn was the perfect blend of host, concierge and friend making my stay in her home a truly wonderful experience.
