The space

1. Great LOCATION - Close to CVS, bars, restaurants, attractions, including Jones Hall, Wortham Center, Alley Theater downtown

2. Great VALUE - Average cost of Airbnb in Houston is over 600 dollars and my zip code has the highest rents in town

3. QUAINT 1924 bungalow extensively re-modeled but retains original charm.

4. Great urban setting but QUIET neighborhood - proximity to Spur 527 at the end of the street so white traffic noise outside but sound-proof in Cottage - quiet retreat in middle of everything

Happy to have you as a guest at my home - I promise to respect your privacy and treat you with all common courtesies - I've had guests use good towels to clean motorcycles or mop up red wine spills - I've had guests leave three days of dirty diapers/poop bags in the room's trashcan & leftover pizza in the closet (as I said, let's talk!) A good rule of thumb is to imagine you are staying with a family friend -

You must also acknowledge
Pet(s) live on property - two cats and two small dogs
Some spaces are shared - garden deck and laundry room
Amenity limitations - TV is streaming only - NO cable - Netflix, Amazon Prime, news apps - bring your HULU or HBO password if you want to watch!

The pictures do the space no justice. Its far better than advertised. Cozy with the highest efficencncy achieved. I would deff recommend to any and every one visiting the H. It was a hell of a first encounter with Air BNB. I now wouldn't want to travel any other way.

I️t was a nice area to stay at because I️t was centralized around all of fun stuff to do. Smaller place than I expected, but I️t fit our needs for a quick trip to Houston. Would stay here again!

Johnette provided us a friendly and easy check in and a convenient location to many awesome places near downtown Houston. The coffee and drinks provided we a nice touch that made us feel like we were at home. We genuinely enjoyed our stay with her and will be looking to book each time we come back to Houston. Thank you Johnette!

Johnette's place is great. It is very clean, quiet, and she provided bottled water, coffee, and a few snacks. She includes a nice guide of local attractions, as well. I would definitely stay here again.

SELF check-in - NO need to meet me to check in so lots of privacy but I'm here for questions/problems.
