Our cozy house stands on small hill, surrounded by beautiful greenery in Kazakoshi area. Near my house located Lake Shiozawa, botanical garden, museums, famous sport facilities. Take a rest from the presen day, your stay at my house may soothe the fatigue in your body and soul.

The space
Our house is two-story building, floor space -total 150㎡. Karuizawa Elegant room (4×5m)is on the second floor. It is an open space room without no door or walls. So has no such privacy as private room. But do not worry. We always accept only your group.
You can sleep on Japanese futon (Look at the photo) spread on the floor. This room is usable for three persons. Young people or family are suitable.
Entrance, kitchen, living, bathroom are shared with hosts. Hosts live on the first floor.
In spring, cherry blossoms. In summer cool climate, refreshing air. In autumn, colored leaves. In winter, cold, sometimes snows, but house is well heated. So very comfortable. Snow-covered surrounding is beautiful. You can enjoy here at any season.

我が家は木立の中にあるので朝から小鳥のさえずりが聞こえます。時にはリスや雉が庭にやってきます。のんびりと散策をしたりサイクリングをすることをお勧めします。隣接してレストラン「シェリダン」があります。近くにはスポーツセンターがあり水泳、スケート、テニス、カーリングを楽しめます。植物園や美術館もあります。足を延ばせば温泉があり旅の疲れを癒せます。また、ドラッグストアやホームセンターもあります。
Our home stands among groves. You can see and hear small birds singing. Sometimes squirrels or pheasants appear in the garden. Near my home there is restaurant,Sheridan'. In the vicinity of our home, there are famous facilities for tennis, swimming, skating, curling and botanical garden(about 6 min walk). You can have curling lessons, or swim in the indoor pool. Toy or Picture Book museums, Shiozawa Lake(about 10 min walk). Hiroshi Senju Museum(about 25 min walk). We recommend you to enjoy walking, cycling, shopping. Within 5km distance, Hosino Hot Spring. You will recover from the fatigue of the trip. Also located drug store, household goods store, shopping plaza.

My name is Rén. Rén means "friend" or "connection" in Japanese.
I like traveling, reading, seeing movies, musicals. I and wife have traveled abroad many times. Goodwill and close touch with people on-the spot are good memory.
I retired from certain municipal office. Now our turn. We offer one of our rooms for travelers as a place of rest and relaxation. We want to help them enjoy my town Karuizawa.
We speak Japanese fluently and English. Hana likes dressing kimono and Japanese tea ceremony.

Light breakfasts (Bread or Lamen) are provided. You can use kitchen. There are restaurants nearby. Hosts speak Japanese fluently, English a little. My wife speaks Chinese fluently. She learns dressing kimono and tea ceremony.
