Eucalyptus is a brand new, architect–designed, sustainable, four-bedroom home set on 24 acres, including areas of protected conservation wetland. Eucalyptus attracts many animals like kangaroos, colourful birds, possums, and there is much to explore. It is a 5-minute drive to the beaches of Jervis Bay and only 3 minutes to Currambene Creek boat ramp and the cafes, restaurants and shops in Huskisson village. Also, it is an easy drive to Booderee National Park.

The space
On entering Eucalyptus, you walk into a welcoming, spacious open plan living area with tall ceilings, large glass sliding and bifold doors and window seats framing the fantastic bush views. This relaxing living space opens to a large deck on two sides offering the versatility of covered and open outdoor dining and relaxation.

The fully-equipped gourmet kitchen has a spectacular spacious granite benchtop making catering for large family groups a breeze. The adjoining dining area comfortably seats 8 adults.

Eucalyptus features four bedrooms, two bathrooms and comfortably sleeps and caters for 8-9 people It is perfect for both families, and couples. There is a second living space/sunroom or children’s play area with a sofa bed, TV, bar fridge, sink and air conditioner. Sliding glass doors lead to another wraparound deck and alternate entrance, capturing the afternoon sun and fantastic bush views.

Your comfort is ensured with air conditioning in the open plan area and sunroom and fans in all rooms for hot summer days and a gas log fire for winter.

SUSTAINABLE LIVING
Eucalyptus is off the grid and powered predominantly by solar panels and batteries.
Your drinking water comes from our rainwater tank and is UV treated and safe to drink.
To maintain the high standard of our septic system, we provide cleaning, laundry and bathroom products to maintain the right acid-base balance
We currently have LPG hot water and heating. In 2022 we plan to be completely off the grid adding solar heating and hot water.
Your hosts, Virginia and Rinke, are currently establishing a garden in the acreage surrounding the house.

BEDROOMS
The main bedroom is large with a king bed and a deck with views of the bush and the growing garden
The second and third bedrooms are spacious both with a queen bed and a window seat with uninterrupted bush views.
The fourth bedroom has two single beds and a trundle.

Linen and bedding
We provide linen and towels and bedding including mattress and pillow protectors, donnas, pillows and extra blankets for your comfort. All you need to bring along are your beach towels. All bedrooms feature built-in wardrobes, clothes hangers, extra blankets.

BATHROOMS
There are two beautiful full-sized sunlit bathrooms, with bathmats, hand towels.

LAUNDRY with a washing machine

The main entrance to house has four steps. The house itself is on one level.

Parking: there is ample parking on the property for your car and even your boat

NOTE: This is a rural property and snakes and spiders may be present, it is recommended that guests keep to the main paths and not wander through long grass.

PARTIES FUNCTIONS AND GATHERINGS
This property is surrounded by permanent residents. Strictly no parties or events. Strictly no Bachelor/Hens parties or Schoolies will be tolerated. Guests that don't respect the property or neighbours will be immediately evicted without a refund.

Extra Fee: An additional cleaning of $50 will be requested if the BBQ is not cleaned after use. We also ask that you ensure your dishes are washed and put away on departure.

We are in a peaceful bush location and Huskisson village, the heart of Jervis Bay, is a 3 minute drive from the house. Here you can find restaurants, cafes, homeware boutiques, the local cinema, the maritime museum, monthly markets, whale watching tours and much more. A wonderful place to visit during your stay.
Just a little further on is Vincentia, great beaches and well maintained cycling paths - take the White Sands Walking/Cycling track all the way to Huskisson village for incredible views of the bay.
