We were grateful for a spot for Brown's family weekend that could potentially include our children and that kept us close to campus. The river trails behind the house were lovely and it was great to be able to walk to the nearby Wayland area for breakfast while we waited for our student to wake up. The home was very conveniently located at a very busy time in Providence! It is an in-law type space w/close to a separate entrance but no real sitting area - they did kindly allow us to have coffee in their kitchen! It was a fine base for a busy weekend - we did not spend any time "hanging out" there.

Joanne and her family are welcoming, flexible and generous hosts. The house is clean and luxuriously furnished. The kitchen is perfect for families and the (ginormous!) playroom is such a bonus. I can't imagine a more comfortable place to stay with my family and we hope to stay there again.

This home exceeded our expectations. It is perfectly located and close to all. Quiet, clean and comfortable. This was our first Airbnb stay and the bar is now set very high. Thank you Joann for being a wonderful host and sharing this special home.

Joanne's beautiful home is nestled near a park and water just minutes away from Brown University and the city of Providence; We arrived in November and the foliage of the nearby park was ablaze with fall colors; we did not get a chance to enjoy the park but it looked like it would be quite enjoyable for those who visit Joanne's place and do have the time to embark on the beauty just outside her door. We enjoyed sleeping on the third floor where Joanne prepared a clean and comfortable space complete with snacks in a basket, three private bedrooms and a bathroom. We were there for only one night for a show my daughter was performing in at Brown and found Joanne's home to be welcoming, accommodating and comfortable. Although juggling the care of her adorable children with work, Joanne managed to meet all our needs with ease and a smile.

My colleagues and I had a great stay at this lovely home. It's in a pretty neighborhood, and the proximity to the water is nice. I wish we'd had more time to enjoy it!

Great location, close to Brown and RISD, beautiful home. The owner was out of town but she had arranged a house keeper to welcome us nicely. Comfortable stay.

Joanne's house was absolutely beautiful and we felt very much at home. There were snacks out for us when we arrived, the bathroom had toiletries, and we were greeted by her amazing daughter- my boys loved playing with her. The location can't be beat and all the beds were very comfortable.
