I enjoyed my stay, really quiet and serine. Not too far from markets and restaurants. The place was clean and comfortable. I loved the master bedroom and bathroom and the free pinball machine was awesome. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. I do recommend this place to anyone looking to get away to a nice quaint atmosphere.

This was a great place to stay. It was spacious, comfortable, serene, and just all around perfect. You truly have your own private area and the hosts are not all over you even though they live upstairs. They make themselves available if you need them and for us, that was perfect. They have lots of good recommendations for anything you need. The place has everything and has been well thought out. The view was amazing from the back windows and I enjoyed my morning coffee every morning while watching the birds, the ducks, and the squirrels run around competing for the food dispensed from the bird feeder. And the reflection of the water from the canal was just super peaceful even if it was a little mucky. Would definitely stay here again, no doubt about it. Nancy Panaggio

We liked the location. The home is in a nice secluded area close enough to downtown Akron (20 minutes) for our purposes. Beautiful house. Hosts were very helpful with questions and directions. We enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was great! David couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. Our accommodations were beautiful and in a peaceful setting. We had every thing we needed from a well stocked kitchen, bedrooms and baths. Although TV's in the bedrooms would have been nice for when we wanted private down time. The rooms had a great view of the backyard and canal, with small wildlife outside our windows for an entertaining and relaxing stay. Conveniently located, you could easily want to make this an extended stay with it close to so many wonderful places to visit and things to do. SQ

Sondra, thank you for your kind words. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry about our initial communication problem. After returning from a trip out of the country, my Virgin Mobile / Sprint phone was disabled. After several days and at least 2 hours on the phone I fired Sprint after using VM for years. My new phone arrived the day you did which allowed us to finally communicate.

I loved the big windows and all the light. Plenty of room and privacy for a family. Temperature (air conditioning) was good. Comfortable. Beautiful home and neighborhood.

Sorry about the communications problem. We were away for 3 weeks and upon return discovered our Virgin Mobile Service had been disabled in spite of being paid in full. Sprint now owns Virgin and we had problems with them years ago. We fired Sprint, again, and switched to an ATT product. Our new service went into effect about the time the first members of your family arrived.

The property is beautiful: bucolic, peaceful, scenic. There were nice amenities within driving distance (especially: good grocery stores). It was an ideal property for a medium-sized group. The host was extremely professional and cordial.

thanks very much for your feedback. We keep a Brita water pitcher in the fridge to remove odors etc. from the water. We change our whole house filter on the first of every month. The heavy rains we have experienced have likely affected the volume of water flowing underground. This was once a coal mining area. We changed the filter upon our return and my wife, who is the first to notice the sulfur, said it was gone in a day. After living here 29 years we decided many years ago that we were happy to have the lake 150 yds away, as we preferred the wildlife and quiet of our location.
