ALL RACES AND GENDERS ARE WELCOME IN MY HOME.
Two bright rooms in charming 1910 Old Town cottage. Safe, friendly, neighborhood 5 blocks to CSU, 7 blocks to Old Town. Private entrance from back patio with fountain, extensive gardens. Shared bathroom. Wi-fi. Owner, two cats, small dog live here. No outside pets permitted.
Infants are welcome, but otherwise no children under the age of 13, as my rescue dog Arlo is afraid of children.

The space

The bedroom and sitting room are furnished with antiques as well as modern pieces. New luxury mattress and linens on queen bed, extra pillows and down comforter available. The adjacent large and airy sitting room has French doors leading out to your patio and the garden. Sitting room is conveniently set up for working on your laptop.
The shared bathroom is just a few steps away from the bedroom. Pack lighter and leave some of those pesky toiletries at home. Toothpaste, lotion, goats milk or shea butter soap, and AVEDA hair products all provided, along with lovely thick towels.
Guests are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare meals and to store food and beverages in the frig, with the understanding that they will leave the kitchen clean!
Guests also are free to enjoy the back patio with fountain and garden in warm weather.
Complimentary coffee or tea in the morning. :)

Guest access

The house does of course have WiFi.

Interaction with guests

The owner (Lisa K.) lives in the house and most times will be here to greet you when you arrive. I will be happy to advise you about restaurants, shopping, bicycle rentals, hiking trails, etc. I really enjoy having guests in my home. My primary goal is to provide my guests with clean, comfortable rooms and to be friendly and helpful but not intrusive, preserving your privacy as well as mine. Guest area is the sitting room and bedroom, with access to a sunroom and the kitchen and bathroom, of course. My private areas are the dining room, living room, front bedroom and front porch. However, this doesn't mean that we can't enjoy a glass of wine or morning cup of coffee together if the occasion arises.:)

Other things to note

Please note: Since Airbnb does not provide this service for hosts, I will need to collect 6.8% of your net bill for local sales and lodging tax. Cash or check is good. Typically I will provide the exact $ amount to you via email well before you arrive.

What an incredible space. The outdoor garden, court yard, fountain and swing were amazing. The antiques and homey feel to the space made is feel right at home. Lisa was absolutely amazing and just added a little extra touch to make us feel right at home and welcomed. The location was fantastic we were close to downtown and CSU. There were several reference magazines and maps to assist us in our stay and Lisa was available. Highly recommend!

A beautiful paradise on a quiet street! Such a wonderful and tranquil place to stay - from the garden to the beautiful room, with books everywhere and very friendly pets - I can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay. Lisa is a superb host; unobtrusive yet available when needed. We had no problem whatsoever sharing the kitchen and bathroom. In fact, we had some very pleasant conversation when we met her occasionally in the kitchen. The bed was the most comfortable than any bed outside of our own. There is no tv but the access to old town was much better anyway. Also, with wifi, you can always use Netflix or Amazon. Unfortunately, the weather was cool so we were unable to enjoy the patio in the beautiful garden. Lisa does have a dog and cats but we would only see the cat if we left the door open and Arlo, the little rescue dog, only if she was with him. Therefore, you need not be concerned with their presence if not desired. We did get some cuddles from the cat however. We highly recommend this a stay here to enjoy old town and rest in a very unique house

Lisa's home is lovely, spacious, very clean, and most comfortable! Sometimes, I might not feel comfortable sharing a host's bathroom or kitchen, but with Lisa, it was all so easy. We would definitely go back. Thank you so much, Lisa!

Delightful, charming house and exceptional host in the classic B&B tradition. Your quarters include a large sitting room and a separate bedroom, both lined with books and art. The bed is cushy, yet firm, and you'll find slippers by the door and a robe in the closet. Lisa is friendly and engaging, and made me feel at home immediately. I was only there for one night, but would love to visit again. If you're traveling through town, treat yourself to this Ft. Collins gem.

This is a charming cottage surrounded by a lovely garden in a quiet neighborhood near (within walking distance) of Old Town Fort Collins. I loved hearing the birds, the water fountain in the garden, and the far off sounds of the trains passing through town.

Simply the sweetest place in a wonderful town. The pictures do not lie. Your living quarters are truly that gentle and lovely. The garden is storybook. Lisa and her little critters make the place seem like a home.It was an experience I will never forget.
