I feel like I'm visiting friends. And yet, I have my own cozy kingdom. Great.
A wonderfully soft bed, just right (box spring?), a cozy kitchen fully equipped, a modern shower bathroom and a living room with a large relaxing sofa offers the apartment. Also, I have direct access out into the garden. Too bad for just one night actually, here you can stay longer.

The space
There is a large living room with large TV and DVD, Netflix, YouTube etc, private kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with large boxspring bed (2 at 2.20 mtr) and private access to the garden.

Where you’ll be

Malsfeld, Hessen, Germany

Documenta city Kassel can be reached by regional train from us within 25 minutes. No problem with parking in Kassel, man gets off in Kulturbahnhof and you are already there where you want to be! The car can be left in front of the door for free at "Happy Teapot" or you can drive 3 minutes to the train station and leave it there. We live in 7 minutes walking distance from the forest, river, small lake, lots of hiking and bike paths. Melsungen can be reached within 10 minutes by car. Malsfeld within 3 minutes.

Peter & Anne-Marie Helms, married since 1977, travelled in over 47 nations, Dutch and Australian by birth, lived in the Netherlands and Canada for most of our married life. Have three grown-up children, married and children of their own who all live in the Netherlands. A little out of the box, for sure, but that brings a little flavour to life as we see it! We have found that getting to know people in the safety of a home brings wholeness, life and perspective. That is why we do what we do! We love to travel especially to South Africa where we lived for more then 5 years. We also think that the heart of Germany, where we live now, is worth a visit, even if you have to travel from far. Our place is situated in the heart of Germany with some close by beautiful historic towns like Melsungen, Fritzlar and Bad Herzfeld. Surrounded by tranquility, peace and glowing hills with lots of beautiful woods and walkways it is certainly worth visiting. We are close (between 20 minutes to 1,5 hrs drive) to vibrant cities like Kassel, Frankfurt and Göttingen.
