Truly relax and unwind at this peaceful shoreside accommodation with an ever changing stunning view. Ideally located for gentle strolls from the house to the local beach and to explore this Scottish Site of Scientific Interest. Perfect for twitcher and wildlife enthusiasts, you may even catch a glimpse of an otter and seals! This is also an ideal launch site for your own kayak/canoe/SUP to just paddle around. From here you can also explore the rest of the island and mainland at your leisure.

Where you’ll be

Isle of Skye, Scotland, United Kingdom

Lower Breakish is a small crofting community off the beaten track, down a single track road, 10 minutes from the Skye bridge, so as soon as you arrive on Skye you are almost here. The Quaint Wee is at the end of a single track road with the tidal inlet of the Ob Breacais in front of you and the inner sound ahead of you. Every day has a different view. Your neighbours are more likely to be sheep and cows, or even seals ,otters, deer and birds, lots of birds.
Yet Broadford is only 10 mins away, with its restaurants, Co-op supermarket , petrol station and other amenities.

We came to Skye to live in 2015 and haven't regretted it for a moment. Janet was born in the Highlands and Joelle was born in France and we had been living in East London prior to then, both working for the NHS. Janet has retired now and Joëlle works a couple of days a week for the time being. We have 2 dogs one cheeky little cairn/norfolk cross and the other…well who knows! She was a rescue dog but is gorgeous! The pace of life on Skye couldn't be any different. We love exploring Scotland and occasionally popping down to London and taking in all that it has to offer but Skye offers something else. The beauty of the ancient landscape with the mountains and sea makes you believe a dinosaur would not look out of place here! Then there’s the wildlife and the colours with the most amazing skies and sunsets. We take photos nearly every day to try to capture the magnificence of the views but sometimes you've just got to put your phone down and look.
