Situated in the Downtown Bastrop Historic Distirct, this cozy 100-year-old, 2 bed/2 bath home has been renovated and modernized. Walk to downtown live music and dining venues, Fisherman's park or just stroll around town to look at our historic buildings. Alternatively, use this as your base to visit Austin, Circuit of the Americas, Austin 360 Amphitheater, Bergstrom airport, Hyatt Lost Pines Resort, Zip Lost Pines, McKinney Roughs Nature Park, and Bastrop State Park.

The space
Master bedroom (queen) has an ensuite full bath with shower and tub. Guest bedroom (full) bath features a shower. Each bedroom has a large closet and a desk and chair. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home (but we recommend you try some of Bastrop's great dining and music venues). Amenities: WiFi, smart TV, linens, towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, soap, shampoo, blow dryer, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, toaster, gas range and oven, waffle machine, kettle, drip and Nespresso coffee machines, folding chairs and towels (for the river), charcoal grill, driveway and street parking. We have a huge lot - great for the kids to play soccer or throw a football. Help yourself to our vegetable garden and nuts from the Pecan trees depending on the season. The train comes by between zero and three times a day as far as I can tell. You will hear is coming when the engineer sounds the horn. If you like art, go out front to spy graffiti on wheels

Great live music/dining venues in town (a 15 minute walk down Pecan Street): Maxine's (breakfast featured in Texas Monthly); PIney Creek Chop House (ask for the table in the window for a special dinner- the lamb chops are amazing); Neighbors - best place to drink a beer/cocktail/dinner while overlooking the river and listening to live music; Copper Shot Distillery - great vibe, patio, live music and drinks. If you love the outdoors, the possibilities are endless - close and easy access to activities on the Colorado river and multiple parks for hiking and biking! Just 20 mins from Circuit of the Americas if you are going to the Grand Prix or a concert.
