The space
This unique old stone house is located at the entrance to Solomon's Valley, overlooking the Red Sea, and the Edom (Red) Mountains. It stands as the most southern house in the State of Israel.

Williams House was built in 1931 by Lord Leonard Williams, a British intelligent officer and a geologist, who served Her Majesty's Secret Service, spying in Israel.

In 1948, when Israel’s Independence was declared, Williams fled in haste to Jordan aboard his rowing boat (Rumours suggest that he only had one paddle).

Williams house is now a spiritual and ecological centre that offers boutique lodging and conducts both ecological awareness and Mind/Body workshops.

In the house you will find all the amenities needed for a perfect holiday: Cable TV, wifi internet connection, air conditioning, kitchenette (fridge, kettle, coffee and tea). There is also a relaxing sitting area outside, with a magnificent view.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have about the place.

In 1950 Ilana and Amos Ofer settled in Williams House, where they lived and raised their daughter. During that period, Williams House became a local art centre where various painting, pottery and sculpture workshops were held. Many of Eilat's artists have presented their works here.
