Our warm and cosy, three bedroom stone cottage offers an excellent base for those who want to explore the stunning walks of the Peak District or enjoy the quiet of village life. Set in the High Peak within the Peak District, Hayfield is your quintessential Derbyshire village with its four pubs, restaurant and bespoke shops. The River Sett meanders from the reservoir at the foot of Kinder Scout, through the village passing the cricket pitch, church and village hall.

Hayfield is known as the gateway to Kinder Scout and is surrounded by stunning walks for all levels from the easy old railway line of the Sett Valley Trail to the more demanding Kinder Scout, Lantern Pike or South Head. For the more adventurous you can join the Pennine Way and go via Jacobs Ladder to reach Mam Tor.

We are blessed with five village pubs including The Pack Horse, an award winning Gasto Pub to cosy country pubs with open fires. In addition there are three coffee shops, an Italian restaurant and a Fish and Chip shop.

Hayfield is a beautiful village with its own identity complete with its village cricket and various festivals/events including Well Dressing, May Queen, Sheep Dog Trials and pop-up markets.
