Where you’ll be

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Vogue Magazine's 2nd coolest neighbourhood in the world, this apartment is situated on a quiet side street, steps away from West Queen West. All the hippest cafes, trendy restaurants, boutique shops, and swanky bars are literally just down the street.

Also 5 minutes walk away is the distinctive, multicultural neighbourhood, Kensington Market. Alive and vibrant is this district, both day and night, as the area is filled with a mix of food stores selling an immense variety of meats, fish and produce. There are also several bakeries, spice and dry goods stores, and cheese shops. Stores sell a wide variety of new and used clothing, and there are discount and surplus stores.

Old Chinatown is also very close by and is home to many tasty restaurants, discounted and wholesale-priced goods, cheap groceries with a wide selection of exotic fruits, vegetables and meats.

Hello! My name is Jonathan and I would love to be your gracious host! A little about myself: I love to travel and when I'm not traveling I enjoy going to community-oriented, transformational festivals. In 2012, I returned from a 4-month, whirlwind tour of South-East Asia where I backpacked 6 countries: Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. In 2013, I backpacked Vietnam. I like to participate in festivals, both local and international. They are an avenue which enables me to create art, experience music, and celebrate life. I've been to Burning Man three times! )'( I am grounded, emotionally sound, positively driven, and; neither a neat freak nor a slob. I am an individual who is independent, inclusive and socially/community oriented. Most of all, I am responsible, laid-back, and fun! I will never discriminate, nor hold any prejudices towards any guest based on race, colour, religion, or creed. I'm open to all genders, identities, and sexual orientations. I will give each and every interested guest a fair chance to stay despite being a new user or having a lack of positive reviews. I have acted as a host at previous house shares and my other roommates can attest to the fact that I will provide superb hospitality. I've graduated from Toronto's Ryerson University in Hospitality and Tourism and have worked at prestigious hotels such as the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto and the Fairmont Banff Springs in Alberta. It has been a dream of mine to run a small B&B and will strive to ensure engaging service and attention to detail to elevate each stay into a cherished memory.
