All about Cliff’s place

Hot Springs, inside Pisgah National Forest, is the coolest little town in NC for outdoor people. "Roars" sits at the end of the sidewalk on the bank of clear running and LOUD Spring Creek. This is my 3 season home away from home. I'm in the process of making it into a modern, comfy space for me - and you. Whatever your adventure, Roars is perfect for your base. CHILD AND PET FRIENDLY!

The space
We come to HS for the outdoors, meaning mountains and flowing waters. This home is CHILD AND PET FRIENDLY and has a huge yard with views of both, and the never ending roar of Spring Creek - which empties into the French Broad River a few blocks away. Sit in a rocking chair on the covered porch, or by the creek at the fire pit. You may see deer and even black bears! Walk or bike to restaurants, the river, historic Spa, and new brewery. Or access the Appalachian Trail just 100 yards down the road as it descends from the mountains and on to the sidewalk. HIGH SPEED INTERNET and NEW AC.

Where you’ll be

Hot Springs, North Carolina, United States

Hot Springs is a tiny town geared towards outdoor activities, not tacky tourism. (No Indian or bear shows!) We have a few good restaurants and a brand new brewery. My home is just on the edge of the business district, and is very quiet, with human noise drowned out by the music of Spring Creek. Close to Appalachian Trail, Max Patch, Historic Hot Springs Spa, and Big Pillow Brewery.
