Location

Clashnessie, Scotland, United Kingdom

Clashnessie is roughly 9 miles North of Lochinver in the stunning landscape of Assynt. It is a peaceful, working community consisting of crofters, trades people, artists, growers, teachers and many more making up the local population. There are no street lights in Clashnessie, a real treat for star gazers, and as well as the beach and mountain views there is a fantastic waterfall at the south end of the village that is a lovely spot to walk to. Wildlife is in abundance on land, at sea and in the air so be prepared to spot a seal, deer, an otter or maybe an eagle. There is plenty to see and do in Assynt incuding hiking the various mountains nearby, visiting numerous beaches, kayaking, cycling and visiting local cafes and restraunts where you can taste the local produce thats on offer from the sea, the local crofters and the polytunnels dotted around the area.

During your stay
We are a young family and will endevour to meet our guests on arrival. If we are unable to do so, guests can check into the Tiny House privately. We will leave our guests to the peace and quiet this beautiful place offers, but we do live in the house through the gate and are more than happy to assist guests with anything they may need. We are always happy to chat and point guests in the direction of interesting things to see and do in the area.
