*NEWLY RENOVATED* When it comes to the perfect spot to stage your Crested Butte adventure, the Adventure Bungalow is hard to beat! The Adventure Bungalow is a quiet escape on the edge of town where great food, fun, and memories all wait to be made within minutes of your door. The space
Imagine waking up, having a full pot of coffee waiting for you, and being able to gaze out the windows at the days adventures that await you. The Adventure Bungalow was designed and is located for just that! Found on the edge of town on a quiet street, you can enjoy a peaceful morning in the yard or on the balcony, or make the short walk to Camp 4 Coffee to start your day.

When you are ready to head out, there are ample options for you within a short walk for breakfast, coffee, or to start the days adventures.
-Elk Avenue, and all it offers for coffee, breakfast, and shopping is just two and a half blocks away.
--The Sunday Farmer’s Market, on the west side of Elk, is a can’t miss on Sunday mornings!
-Take advantage of the free shuttle to base of Mt Crested Butte, a short 2 block walk from the door, and enjoy the various summer activities the mountain offers.
-The Frisbee Golf Course is located just across the street from the Adventure Bungalow.
-Enjoy access to the Green Lake Trail, which begins across the street from the Adventure Bungalow as well.
-Access to hiking, mountain biking, or trail running up the Slate River Trails is less than a quarter of a mile away. These trails allow easy access to the trails on Mt Crested Butte, as well as up Gothic, including the iconic 401 Trail.
-Kebler Pass, and all its hiking, biking, and fishing opportunities, begins right behind the Adventure Bungalow!

When it’s time to rest and recover, you’re sure to enjoy the newly renovated, open floor plan upstairs with abundant seating for your group, kitchen, and half bathroom. The kitchen offers NEW:
-Large Refrigerator
-Gas Oven/Range
-Wine Fridge
The space was designed for cooking and enjoying time with family and friends, and we hope you put it to good use!

Downstairs, you’ll find the two bedrooms, full bathroom, and mudroom, with plenty of storage for the gear your adventures require. The Adventure Bungalow is set up to sleep 6 people in beds, plus 2 on the queen pull-out, for a total of 8 guests. There is room for 2 vehicles in the driveway, plus there are ample parking options on the street.

The Location
Located on the southwest edge of town, you have easy access to all Crested Butte has to offer! Most are able to park their car and forget about it until it’s time to pack up and leave. Here are distances to some Crested Butte Adventures:
-Frisbee Golf: Across the Street
-Skate Park: 1.5 Blocks
-Green Lake Trail Access: Across the Street
-Shuttle to Crested Butte Mountain Resort: 2 Blocks
-Heart of Elk Avenue: 5 Blocks
-Slate River Trails: 5 Blocks

The Space
Upstairs - Features an open floor plan with large south and east facing windows, creating a light and airy atmosphere while allowing you to enjoy the views! Lounge on the wrap around sofa, which features a pull-out queen bed that can sleep 2 people. If you are needing to get some work done while on the road, there is a desk ready for you to use (but please don’t work too hard – you are here to play!). A large, wall-mounted TV with Netflix will provide plenty of entertainment options while you recover from your big day in nature. In the newly renovated kitchen, you’ll find a new gas oven/range, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, WINE FRIDGE, and coffee maker. For dining, there is a counter-height kitchen island with 6 bar stools and a kitchen table with bench seating. Lest we forget, the upstairs also has a half-bathroom disguised as an old mining shack.

1st Bedroom – King bed, night stands, dresser, and two closets on the 1st floor. This bedroom has a mural of an aspen grove to remind you you’re in the mountains. Two large widows provide views to the south and east.

2nd Bedroom – Queen bed + Twin bunk beds on the first floor, and has a large south facing window and a closet for guests to use.

Full Bathroom – Located on the first floor, the bathroom is complete with shower/tub, and plenty of hooks to hang your towels. The on-demand water heater may take a few minutes to get the hot water flowing, but will provide all the water you and your group need to get everyone clean after a day adventuring.

Entryway - This room is spec’d for space for adventure! Lots of hooks allow you to hang all your gear to dry out and prepare for the next day. In addition to all the hooks, there is a coat closet for additional storage space. Here you will also find the washer and dryer, allowing you to pack light and do laundry as needed.

Hot Water - The Adventure Bungalow utilizes an on-demand hot water system. Although it may take a little bit of time for the hot water to make it to the faucet, this will provide you with an unlimited hot water supply during your stay.

Heating and Cooling – As is common in mountain towns, the Adventure Bungalow does not have AC. There are fans in the bedrooms, along with a large ceiling fan upstairs which are able to provide airflow to keep the space cool. In-floor radiant heat is supplied throughout the Adventure Bungalow, and provides a consistent, even temperature throughout the home. This system can take hours to get back up to temperature, so please be patient with it if you open windows or leave doors open. If you are needing a particular room to be a little warmer, please utilize the Vornado room heaters to quickly warm up an area.

Guest access
You will have keyless access (door code) to each unit that is specific to your group throughout your stay so there is no coordinating the key pickup or sharing of keys amongst the group! I will be in contact after booking with access info.

There are 2 parking spots in the driveway. Additional parking is available on the street, but pay attention to what nights you can park where.
