Authentic New Orleans uptown home. Flooring issues, as in moving floorboards, splinters, and chunks of missing tile. There were dirty and stained towels. We had to go out and purchase our own. The cleaning company they use if any should be reevaluated to say the least. Not the wo…

Response from Rodney & Marnie:
Well, some people just cannot be pleased. Read the vast preponderance of positive reviews we have received. All state how lovely our home is. The floorboards creak and move a bit. If a large person with a heavy step moves about the place, they might be uncomfortable with the natural state of an old, yet solid 100-year-old house. We have an awesome cleaning crew who are paid a living wage and do great work. We replace linens and towels with new ones regularly. Our listing is completely accurate as it states parking is available on the street only. We reject this review as wholly inaccurate. Just someone having a bad day or a bad life is all we can guess.

Great place to stay! Really cool part of town, and you can take the streetcar all the way down to Bourbon. It takes a while, but you get to see a lot of New Orleans on the way, so it isn’t too bad of a trip!

This place is in a fabulous location to get around GNO. Or if you prefer uptown, Audubon park, Carrollton station and riverbend exclusively and not drive, the streetcar or uber works fantastic for the occasion. Best time of the year to visit besides late fall.

This place is great. It is close to public transportation, so you can go to places easily. The host gave great tips for food and tour. They respond really fast too.

This place was just fabulous. It’s big, lots of room, and super comfy. It’s in the perfect location with a $10 uber ride to anywhere in the city. The price was exceptionally reasonable. My parents are in their 50s and this was their first Airbnb expierience. They were blown away…

Yes, that was the worst cold the city had experienced in many years! It's unfortunate that it happened during your stay. We've since resolved the heat issue and the place gets toasty warm in any conditions.

I am a migrant film worker making movies in New Orleans. My partner Marnie and I came here from Hollywood to work on a film and fell in love with the city. At first we were AirBNB guests, now we're AirBNB hosts. We split our time between L.A. and LA. We love to travel and sp…
