Jose's house is well kept and quiet, nestled in a hill top out of Sant Joan. It was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. It's typically, like all villa's in Ibiza, a little out of the way so a car is needed. The house is small but equiped and the communal areas are kept clean and tidy. We loved the dog!
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The apartment is clean, really well facilitated and with a beautifully rustic feel to it. It's located in a peaceful and secluded spot with great views and the pool is just perfect. It even had a fig tree with fresh figs to eat! But best of all was the warm and helpful welcome we received from Jose and his family. Drawing out a map with lots of little tips and recommendations which really helped us maximise our time in Ibiza. I tend not to stay places more than once as I always want to explore further. However - we'll definitely be coming back here when we get the chance!
We had a really nice stay at Jose's house! His wife and him welcomed us with water and fresh fruit + BIG SMILE :) The house is in the middle of the "campo", so perfect if you need to rest and sleep at night. There are a lot of beaches around, but a car is necessary if you want to visit all of them. It is near the village of Sant Joan which is lovely, and not massive touristic. Perfect for an authentic Ibiza experience!
It wasn't the easiest place to find (we'd say look out for the 5t weight limit sign and it's the next entrance on the left) - but it was well worth the search! It's such an idyllic rural retreat that we didn't bother venturing very far (apart from a day trip to Formentera). Jose was a very generous host and could not have been more helpful. The place was quirky but we loved it. No hot water in the kitchen, no toaster and no grill/oven but we ate in most nights and managed perfectly well using the griddle on the double gas hob. There was a good size fridge and freezer. Though no air conditioning, the free-standing fan worked really well. We particularly liked eating out in the courtyard and sharing bottles of wine. All in all, a very relaxing week away from the bustle and in beautiful surroundings. We hope to be back!
