Nestled amongst native remnant bush, Te Aratipi, named after the top of the century old farm it’s located on, is perched 600m high above the Pacific ocean.
With views spanning up to the Mahia peninsula and down to the Ruahines, Kawekas and even the Manawhatu gorge, this remote dual-cabin set up is the perfect escape.
Your hosts will transfer you up and back via Can-Am or Hilux (approximately 20 minutes) to the 'top of the world'.
Go off-grid, switch off, and watch the world go by.

The space

The dual-cabins and surrounding area is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay.
Featuring...

- one dining/sitting room cabin with a sofa bed (incase you want two extra bodies to join you) and table.
- one kitchen (we call it the ‘in-betweener’) with gas hobs, hot running water, Weber BBQ, and everything you need to prepare and cook great food.
- one UE Boom for you to enjoy your favourite music and one solar charger for you to charge up your phone (if you choose to bring one)
- one private hot shower with a view and not to mention, big enough for two.
-one back country flushing toilet.
-one outdoor basin as part of the ‘bathroom’.
-one mahooosive deck to enjoy with a large outdoor dining table, chairs, stone cheminee (fireplace).
-one outdoor fire ‘trough bath’.

We love meeting and socialising with people. As we need to transfer you to the top of our farm to get to Te Aratipi, (a 20 minute can-am or hilux transfer) we will have a certain element of interaction with you. Please note, you do need to be organised with what you bring (we have a packing list). Any additional transfers required with be an additional $75 per trip.
