This house is located in a quiet villa area in the center of Kitakaruizawa.
There are shops, restaurants, convenience stores, etc., so it is a very convenient place.
Karuizawa and Kusatsu are also about a 30-minute drive away. There are many tourist attractions around.

Located halfway between Karuizawa and Kusatsu Onsen, at an altitude of 1100 meters, Kitakaruizawa is located in the geopark at the foot of the Asama Mountains. It is a summer retreat that does not require air conditioning even in the summer, and a resort area where winter sports are thriving in the winter.

During the Taisho period, the university village was created as a summer resort by inviting scholars, literary acquaintances, and artists, mainly the president of Hoso University.
Located in the northern foothills of Mt. Asama and in the northern part of Karuizawa, it became known as Kitakaruizawa, and became a highland villa that was crowded with tourists from the city center.
Lesser-known, it is also a place where Nobel Prize-winning writers and prominent poets and picture writers come for a summer break and often appear in their work.
