Our fully self contained unit is located in a mud brick house in a quiet tree lined cul-de-sac less than 5 minutes walk to the village with cafes, restaurants, park and playground, train station & tourist information centre .
We are in a setting of native gardens with lots of native birds & the modern unit comes fully equipped with a selection of extras including cereal, bread, eggs, yoghurts, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, milk, chocolate & a bottle of wine .

The space

Euroka Hideaway is perfectly situated in a quiet cul-de-sac less than 5 minutes walk to both the station and the heart of Glenbrook Village and all it has to offer. The fully self-contained accommodation has a modern kitchen and bathroom, lounge/dining area and a good size bedroom. Outside there is a veranda area to have a BBQ or just relax. We are on a large property surrounded by native forest in amongst other houses so there is a feeling of space. The unit is well furnished and has air conditioning, washing machine, electric blanket, TV, CD. It is part of a mud brick house and we are happy to advise you on places to go and things to do – I’ve lived in the area for 30 years and enjoy meeting people from around Australia or overseas.

Glenbrook has plenty of facilities & a wonderful village atmosphere – lots of cafes, a great little cinema, tennis courts, a newly renovated park, a good range of shops and swimming pool. The Tourist Information Centre is right next to the park and is well worth a visit. The newest attraction is the circular Australian Painted Panorama, situated behind Mountain Blue Café. Markets are held in Glenbrook on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.

Blue Mountains National Park is also within walking distance where there are many walking tracks and the Jelly Bean Pool. Euroka Clearing, within the national park has a population of eastern grey kangaroos that normally appear around the campground in cooler times of the day.

Glenbrook is a great spot to stay, easy train access to Sydney and a comfortable 40 minutes drive to Katoomba & the upper Blue Mountains. The Norman Lindsay Gallery at Faulconbridge is on your way up, followed by Leura with its famous Mall and many attractions. We are also close to Penrith and the Nepean River – there is a good 6 km Bridge to Bridge walk, Lewers Art Gallery/ Cafe and both the Olympic White Water Rafting Centre and Rowing/Regatta Centre.

Very welcoming hosts to go along with great accommodation. The accommodation was very homely and had everything we needed. Great location either for visiting Glenbrook village itself or the blue mountains and Penrith. Highly recommend

Mary and Jasper's place was really lovely, the house has everything. There was breakfast in the fridge and the pantry had most things you would need for cooking. My partner found some Milo which he was really excited about haha. I didn't get to meet Mary but she was really thoughtful and lovely over messages, and so quick to reply! Would definitely stay again

Mary's place is lovely and quiet among the trees. It is setup to allow you to cook if you want and there are some good eateries nearby. Loved Monte's gourmet pizzas and Vincent's has wonderful coffee and meals. The little shopping centre at Glenbrook has lovely little boutique shops. Thanks Mary for being such a great host!

Mary and Jasper are such lovely hosts. They made our stay most relaxing and comfortable. On top of the great set up, Mary arranged a sleeping cot, a bath baby chair and heaps of toys for our 1 year old. The area is very quiet, set in a bush, which makes you feel like you are in your own piece of paradise.

I enjoy bush walking, a cappella singing with a local chorus, cooking, meeting people and travel. We have now been hosting for more than 3 years and have finally started started staying at some other Airbnbs ourselves when traveling or on holidays.
