A very special property with a Mediterranean feel of indoor-outdoor living, glass bifold doors opening onto a large south-facing terrace, double volume, and skylights throughout. Amazing location just 10 minutes drive from Salcombe, other beautiful beaches, and a 5 min walk into Kingsbridge market town, restaurants and pubs. Access to the house via private foot lane (+/- 70m)

The space
Terrazzo stone floors throughout with underfloor heating. Automated skylights in almost every room. Double volume in the dining and lounge area for maximum light, and double bi-fold doors opening onto the patio. The entertaining kitchen with two ovens also has double bi-fold doors opening onto the patio and overlooking the private orchard garden.

I am South African born and bred, and moved in 2019 from Cape Town as a family to South Devon where my husband is from, for the calm countryside and coastal lifestyle to bring up our three children. My husband and I have furniture workshops in Cape Town and Kingsbridge, where we make bespoke solid timber pieces for clients all around the world. Our home in West Alvington houses many of our designs.
