Annette was a wonderful host. She came to pick me up at Vojens station (12 km from Haderslev). I had dinner with her and Peter several times. The apartment is ideally located, just off the market square. It is very cosy and quirky, with lots of books and jazz cd's. It was really like a second home away from home.

Lovely host, interesting flat, very steep stairs to attic room. Toilet is downstairs. Well located in centre of town.

Annette is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. Her apartment is in a lovely old house right in the centre of Haderslev near to a beautiful square with good restaurants. Annette and Peder both spoke excellent English and we enjoyed good conversation with them on many different subjects. Annette also provided a delicious breakfast at a very reasonable price.

Annette made us feel very welcome. It was very kind of her to include us in their evening meal and invite friends to meet us.

From the beginning Anette was very helpful and responded very quickly to my emails. When we arrived she and Peter gave us a very warm welcome and we ended up chatting till late night about pretty much everything. It was like we knew each other for years. Anette an Peter are a couple of nicest and funniest people on earth. We had stayed at the top floor of their house which is very cozy and spacious. The whole house is amazing, full of interesting books and amazing paintings so if you like art or history then you should definitely pay them a visit. We had our bikes with us and Anette kindly offered a space in her cellar so we could store them overnight. I enjoyed our evening conversations where we shared local beers (Peter knows which are the best) or wine. Both Anette and Peter have lots of amazing stories to tell and I wish we had more time to hear them all. It was sad to leave Haderslev after five amazing days, but I'm sure I'll be back there sooner rather than later.

It all started with Annette's very helpful communication through the Airbnb app: she even knew the perfect nearby parking space. When we walked up that narrow old-town road that leads to her picturesque timber-framed house, she was already waving at us from one of her windows - what better can a welcome be? Annette and her partner Peter made us feel home right at the first moment, and this old but spacious house full of books, art exhibition posters and authentic pieces of art is really a great experience for all travelers who love that atmosphere. We had our own cozy space in the topmost floor, very lovely again. And instead of visiting that little town and its cathedral, we ended up sharing our bread, cheese and whine reserves with the food and drinks offered by our lovely hosts and having an extremely wonderful conversation all night long. Those who want to get into contact with Denmark and its rich history (Peter is an historian!!!) should not miss this place and this wonderful couple! We enjoyed it very much.
