Quiet neighborhood, house is very old and funky but room was clean. The yard is huge and wild. Private entrance and bath. Big picture window plus small window over the bed which is nice for fresh air.

This is the PERFECT place to stay in Ashland. A Large, Quiet, Comfortable room. A close walk to downtown and the Plaza. Plenty of room for two. A comfortable bed and a nice, big bathroom. Phyllis was very helpful with directions and dinner/breakfast suggestions. I would stay here again if/when I am in the area.

Very convenient location. Walkable to the theaters. Comfortable, with added touches like coffee, a kettle, plus shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed a comfortable room in walking distance to the theaters. A family of deer has taken residence in the yard and are a delight to watch. Organic dark roast coffee provided is terrific. Linens could stand to be refreshed but room is clean and decor is fun and eclectic. We were glad to find a room we could return to as we come to Ashland yearly.

A lovely colorful, light, comfortable space. Just as shown in photos and description. We enjoyed the sunny deck with deer family and friendly Cleo the cat. It is always a bonus to stay in a character home and the location is perfect. Phyllis has gone out of her way to provide traveller necessities including coffee and tea. Phyllis kindly let us use her fridge and freezer for our stuff from the cooler. We had a fun two days in lovely Ashland and hope to return for a longer stay soon. Highly recommended.

Some folks say I am "old Ashland". The greatest of compliments! Moved here with the '70's hippie pioneers...after all these years, I still walk out my door and am grateful for living in such a beautiful town. I raised 3 children here, returned to school and became an RN. I sing in a few community choirs, go for long walks/hikes, ride my bike instead of drive my car in town. I have a big yard with a garden, and my happiest moments are spent digging in the dirt with my grandchildren. I enjoy the Shakespeare plays, movies. Spend time at the Y ( which is a very happening place here :). I travel when I can, having been to Cuba and Chili most recently. I enjoy a good laugh, am easy to be around, and I am reallly looking forward to meeting new travelers in my home.
