Self-contained 3-bedroom apartment with private patio to enjoy the stunning views over Lough Allen.
This well-equipped apartment with its own entrance and private parking is situated next door to the owner on the same grounds, outside the picturesque village of Ballinagleragh on beautiful Lough Allen. It boasts its own patio with large dining table and chairs, barbecue, sun lounger, garden with swings, and a quirky firepit area and wood shed snug.

The space
The apartment sleeps 5 persons in 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin, 1 single). There's a cosy living room and dining area with an open fireplace, TV, sofa, rocking chair and armchair. The kitchen was recently renovated and is fully equipped. The bathroom has a shower, sink and bidet; a small second bathroom includes an additional toilet as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor entertainment, e.g. dartboard, board games, 2 swings, badminton net and rackets. The patio features a large dining table and chairs, a BBQ and wooden sun lounger. For balmy summer evenings, there is also a magical circular firepit area with stone-walled seating, perfect for marshmallow roasting, and a swing seat inside a sheltered wood shed.
The area is abound with stunning scenery, the Leitrim Way for hikers runs just behind the house where you will also find a historic Sweat House and Holy Well. A pier down the road is excellent for pier jumping or just relaxing and watching magnificent sunsets. The picturesque town of Drumshanbo is just a 10min drive away. Here, you will find good shopping facilities and an outdoor pursuits centre with a wide range of watersports activities. The quaint town is also the start of the fantastic Blueway, an innovative on-water and land-based trail, perfect for cycling, walking and kayaking.
Other highly recommended places/activities in the area are the Arigna Mining Experience, Lough Key Forest & Activity Park, electric bike hire in Leitrim Village, Marble Arch Caves, the Shannon Pot, Cuilcagh Boardwalk to name but a few.

The apartment overlooks majestic Lough Allen and the Arigna mountains. Behind the house is the Iron Mountain range which offers magnificent hiking. We are just a 10min drive away from Drumshanbo and within easy reach of beautiful Carrick-on-Shannon with several supermarkets as well as a range of fabulous restaurants and pubs.
