Pender Island, British Columbia, Canada

Pender Island offers modern amenities and multiple restaurants (Jo's Place is our fave) as well as many hiking trails, parks, whale watching and water sports. We also host Sea Star Vineyards and Twin Island Cider -both with tasting options in the summer months. Driftwood Center offers full grocery and liquor stores, Jo's Place restaurant for breakfast and lunch (currently take-out only) as well as Vanilla Leaf Bakery. In summer and fall, there's a market on Saturday mornings at the community center. The golf course features El Faro for gluten free breakfast bowls with tacos for lunch. Explore your own art drive, visiting the many artist studios throughout the island. The bookstore couldn't be cuter and you'll get a taste of art on the island there too!
