Hot days are here.  Let the kids run in the sprinkler or play on a homemade slip and slide. (Recent guests showed me the joy of visqueen and the water hose.)

If the kiddos aren't along, enjoy room to stretch your legs in the peace and quiet.

Fish or boat on Lake Seminole, the Chattahoochee, and Spring Creek, or swim in spring fed lakes. Launch a kayak or go-devil from the property or your larger boat from a nearby boat ramp.

Welcome to southwest Georgia!

The space
The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood near Seminole State Park. People have practiced putting, played corn hole, hung a hammock, and, oh yes, parked their boats.

I'm serious about Covid-19. There is at least 48 hours between guests and the cleaner is super good about disinfecting. You never have to interact with other people if you don't want to.

Where you’ll be

Donalsonville, Georgia, United States

This is country living with amenities - grocery stores are within 15 miles and we even have 'the lake mall,' aka the Dollar General, two miles away. You can walk or bike down dirt roads, fish off the bridge or at a pond.

Sunrise is beautiful, so I've heard -mornings are not my thing. :) Just sitting outside enjoying the green trees and grass makes me happy.

People have gone to Blue Springs for the day. If you're interested in history, there are several day trips possible. Just ask and I'll try to find out.

This is the country, so it can seem really dark at night if you're from an urban area. Just remember that the darker the night, the brighter the stars.

The rains have started, so the road may flood for about an hour. I'll show you the "secret" detour to the next road over. No extra time involved.
